I love that they give our local kids jobs and treat them with so much respect when they come in after school. It means a lot to see a business that supports our youth and our schools the way they do.

“I came into this store after having a very frustrating and fruitless experience at the Auburn Home Depot. I was asked within five seconds of entering this store if I needed help. Told them I was looking for a plastic panel to cover a florescent light fixture. Gentleman not only showed me what I was looking for, but also helped me look through the different types they had so I picked out the right one, and even cut it for me without charging the cutting fee. I think it’s obvious where I will be shopping from now on.”
“Green acres is always a great time. I love their huge selection of plants and their staff is usually quite knowledgeable about how to care for the plants. Their pricing for pots can be quite expensive but their pricing for plants I think is fair. They even have ads that portray cool group planting ideas for plants so that you can mimic professional landscape decor.”
“I highly recommend Miller’s Ace Hardware!!! I was so grateful to meet the one and only Miller himself and let me tell you, that young man is very smart and truly enjoys the relationships he has and excited to create more. The entire staff makes everyone feel like family and their product knowledge is above and beyond other big chain places. Their prices were the same, if not better, than other big corp places so between the family feel, great prices, and pro level instruction from experienced staff I’m actually looking forward to my next project like the dreaded annual sprinkler repairs before spring, I’m not dreading it anymore with Miller’s Ace as my place.”

“So this store is really good, and may just be one of the primary reasons why I always have a little less $$ in my bank account but it is the people that work here that I want to highlight. These guys are wood workers and craftsmen. It’s like they love woodworking so much that they decided to work there (the thought has crossed my mind ?). I really appreciate the enthusiasm and knowledge these guys have. I can explain what I’m trying to do or what I’m stuck in and they have expertise to come up with alternative ideas. Just terrific folks. I have also introduced a few of my fiends to Rockler’s classes. My friends were complete novices but really enjoyed the two “make and take” classes we all attended. One was a cutting board class and the other was a pen turning class. If you have not checked out there classes, I highly suggest you do. If you have not visited this Rockler, I suggest you do! My only complaint is how much money I spend here ?, so be careful when you come… they have a terrific inventory of some pretty terrific things. I am very thankful to have this store so close. And to the staff, keep up the good work all!
BTW, I added some pictures to highlight some of the hardwood/plywood/machinery I have purchased at Rockler, but mostly to brag lol ?!”

“I stopped in the store today because I had an issue with a stripped screw from an Allen wrench and after you tubing some possible solutions, I’d stop by to see if I could pick up a torque bit to help get this out. Shane was thoroughly helpful in helping me find a solution for this and provided excellent customer service. Anytime I drop by the employees at Emigh Ace Hardware have made a great shopping experience.”

As a GC I rarely buy anything tool at HD with mia stock, returned, damaged, bad inventory, and understaffed miserable help.
On 2nd thought they get a 5!”
“Nice store, attentive employees and good selection. Sadly the Democrats in CA have made consumer prices out of line with to many regulations on businesses, costs for minimum wages are way to high and CA government is no friendly with companies. It makes the consumer shopping experience poor and goods are simply unaffordable for DIY work any longer.”
“I love this place! The guys are fantastic! I am opening a business and was having a real hard time finding just the right color, I was in there about every day grabbing new samples. I was consistently treated with respect and they were always helpful. Ultimately I created my own unique color and they let me name it! Safe to say I will definitely use them again!”

“LISA- without fail, hands down LARGE APPLIANCES employee has a the go to gal! This gal is THE only reason we are returning to purchase another oven. She’s going ne so far above and beyond I wish I could get a hold of a corporate Home Depot big wig. I’d tell them this woman is a customer service expert that CARES, has empathy and truly deserves a GIFT card for her service to say thank you for being such an amazing problem solver. (Short story, after going through the extended warranty company from hell ALLSTATE, Jeff the big supervisor, Babette and Lisa have made our lives livable to where we will return there only Because of them. I hope home depot reads all the BBB terrible reviews and changes their warranty carrier. The last 2 years of reviews are what we went through but I called HD to beg for help and got an angel named Lisa. Her extra help and determination has earned my largest respect. Please corporate feel free to contact me.

“I broke a sprinkler pipe fitting this weekend, and nobody else had Blu-Lock fittings in stock. Not even the other Ace. Also, when I entered the store on a busy Saturday, employees immediately welcomed me and asked if they could help. I was out of there with exactly what I needed in less than 10 minutes. I love Ace.”
