“Food: 5/5Tried the pistachio ricotta cake. I really was craving tiramisu but they did not have any and I do love pistachio so gave it a try. The layers melt in your mouth and the top layer has a slight crisp and powdered sugar on it that is amazing. Service: 5/5 I rushed here right before closing and a gentleman came out of his way to go package the slice for me which was very kind. Not much of a line as it was closing time, Ambiance: 4/5 Not too busy, but again, I came a bit late (planning to leave before they closed if I didn't find anything). If it wasn't closing time, I would have definitely shopped a bit more around.”

“This is my favorite place to do a bit of grocery shopping. The staff are always extremely friendly and I don't see a lot of turnover so that speaks volumes into management. The store is small enough that it's not overwhelming but has a surprisingly large selection of most ingredients. The meat department is fantastic, I can't recommend this little market enough :)”

“Never thought I would downgrade Trader Joe. They've been doing great since the fire with reconstruction of the place over on the north side of town. Things settled down for a minute and Trader Joe's became a premium appointment destination once again . However, with all this new construction resulting gridlock that is being directed through Trader Joe. The rapid increase of customers fast shopping, has necessitated the dropping of One Fat Star. Trader Joe reps one of last holdouts of the "De"Evolution that is overtaken our society, the conservative view would have monopolies for every industry. Big money, Big game, Big oil, Big pharma, Big food, says"play nice, nobody gets hurt. Except the losers, you are not a loser are you? Good. Don't worry about it. Get back to work. What're you looking at?"”

“Special thanks to the great staff at this store. Christmas Eve, as I was getting ready to cook for the next day, I realize that I had forgotten the main ingredient for the desert I promise to bring to the family gathering the next day. Total panic! I rushed down to this market, and they were closing, and sweetly escorting the last of the customers to their cars. As I ran up to the door the manager had just locked the door, and the lights were being turned off. I was desperate because my family was expecting my special treats! Not only did the manager open up the store for me, they escorted me through the isles with a flashlight while I found my chocolate, and then opened up a register to ring me up . I have never experienced such compassion at a grocery store in my life! These people are absolutely fantastic. Every time I've been in there, I received kind smiles and great service. Thank you thank you thank you to the wonderful angels of Fircrest market!”

“Our favorite grocery store. Where safeway makes you feel like cattle on the way to slaughter, Raleys is at a slower pace that i literally pay for that privilege. The pharmacy ROCKS! They consistently advocate for my partner, who has constant battles with pharmaceutical insurance issues, to get them to provide life-saving medications. Everyone is kind there. They have interesting holiday and home oddities. We will always shop here over Safeway.”

“I had a huge craving for some Mexican pastries. Usually i go to Lola's Market but I thought I'd try out a new place. I'm glad I did! As soon as I walked in, I got a wiff of fresh bread. Sure enough, the lady at the bakery was putting out some freshly baked pastries. My favorite is the concha. If you've never had one, drop what you are doing and go get one! It is the best thing to ever have been created (pastry wise). They had an assortment of different types. They had yellow, pink, chocolate and white concha's available. Unlike the pink ones. These concha's are huge and have a lot of the sugar on the top. Just the way i like them! After getting my concha's, I decided to check out the rest of the store. They have a wide selection in Mexican products. Ones you can't really find at Safeway. The meat department also offers a good variety of meat cuts at great prices. The workers were super friendly and helpful, regardless of what department I was in. They were playing music in Spanish and it just gave the whole experience at the store that Mexican vibe you can't get at a regular grocery store. I'll definitely be coming here more often!”

“I ordered some of the catering trays from Oliver's. I ordered the meat/cheese, condiments, veg, fruit, and grilled veg trays for a memorial service. They were packaged in very sturdy boxes that were easy to stack, the trays were gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful! Everyone was so incredibly impressed by not only the look but they all tasted really good. The grilled veg tray was by far everyone's favorite! The staff was very nice and helpful and the end product was artwork! Thank you Oliver's for making a stressful situation so very relaxing!”

“I was famished and I told the man at the register it was my first time in the store. He graciously walked me over to the place where you can order freshly cooked food. I had a great chicken taco! I'm not really sure what it is...a restaurant with groceries or a grocery store with an area to sit down and enjoy delicious food, made to order. But it's neat and clean. The shelves were tidy and organized. Very pleasant experience. I will go again.”

“Best chili Verde burrito in the whole wide world!!! Sofie eat several each time we come back from Texas. When in Texas, we talk about the burritos at this market and wonder why there are not great burritos like Estrella's have. I think it's the attractive senora with the sly smile that makes them. “This is by far my favorite Latin grocery store in Santa Rosa and Roseland. They are so clean with great customer service. They have the BEST roasted chicken and the sauce that comes with the chicken is soooo good. They also have a meat section that is so clean with a lot of fresh produce. Not to mention it smells like a delicious bakery when you walk through the doors because they are! My FAVORITE latin grocery store. Only sad thing is I only discovered them this year.”

When I revisited the store today the cashier recognized me and showed me a picture they had recovered from the cameras to track me down. He proceeded to pull out $120 from the cash register.
