“Shopping pretty typical but there are some cool "finds". Customer service is quite good, especially the checkout worker whose station is by the entry. She is as pleasant a person as can be!”
“The owner is very nice, and helpful. He is doing such an incredible job at making this local business thrive and become more apart of the community by giving locals jobs, starting to buy produce from local farmers and over all trying to extend a lot of things in the store.”
“Wow what a surprise here. I usually have to go up here in Fortuna for week and the lack of food options makes the trip a drag but I'm glad I stumbled on here. First off the lighting in there was immaculate and it was the cleanest grocery store I've ever been in. I was just browsing but once I saw they had a deli counter I gad to get something. I got the pork belly rice bowl which is excellent and reminded me of the food I eat down south in San Gabriel valley. I'm here on work so I didn't shop for groceries but if I lived here this would definitely be a go to spot! Will be returning whenever I'm in town.”
“The best attention from the staff and support Asia for its clients whatever they need and most importantly, excellent and kind people for their help when one does not have the money at hand. Clothes, boots, pants, cell phones, by the way, thank you very much shorty for the time you sold me a phone and I told him that even knowing I'm waiting until payday that is appreciated for me? because I needed it a lot and for everything humble ? and simply because it is with the people and too much support from Asus clients, well for me it was the best. SO YOU KNOW WHO I AM WITHOUT MORE TO SAY...... I AM IVAN PÉREZ MENDOZA ? LUIS'S NEPHEW GREETINGS FROM JALISCO ? I HOPE TO RETURN SOON”
“This is one of my go to places to shop! Prices are below average the average for this area! They have a wide selection of items ranging from everyday essentials like toiletries, milk, soda and cell phone accessories to things like DVDs, gift cards and seasonal holiday items! The staff is friendly and I especially love Macy! The different colors of hairs from week to week accentuate her personality and customer service skills! Always a joy walking in to her friendly smile!”
“This store has for sure turned around. i don't know who's managing it, but the store is doing amazing. In my opinion, employees seem happier & everything is usually stocked and not expired. I like shopping here the prices are good too. Keep up the good work. Hope all of you get a raise....or at least a pizza party.”
“Friendly staff and great prices! The meat department cut a custom standing rib roast for me on the spot (bone-in [3] end cut for about $48.00) and as I walked through the store I noticed prices were better than other stores that I normally shop.”
“Today, I enjoyed the Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had since Canter’s in LA!!Perfect and huge!! For $10! Ray’s reminds me of Gelson’s in SoCal. You feel special shopping in this market! Yes, the prices are higher, but you do pay for quality. Ray’s is a superior market and very clean. Also, Ray’s is employee owned! This may be the very reason they are friendly and do their jobs so well with time to answer any questions. Thank you for that delicious sandwich!Sincerely,The Pastrami with Pickles Lady”

“This place is pretty great for what it is. There has been some lows in the past but ever since they've got a new owner it's been improving. Lilly is by far the best Cashier, she's very nice. I really wish the others were a bit more interactive and considerate. They have quite a lot of stock, and being 20 second running distance makes this place very "convenient". The prices are fair considering they are a smaller sized retailer. There are of course going to be some things they can improved on, but I'm excited to see how they grow as time passes. They recently (today) got a little bit of competition, in the produce department. I'm hoping that sparks a little bit of competitive spirit. As no longer will Loleta Market have a full monopoly on its town.I recommend this place if you need something real quick, if you want a drink for the road or anything else simple like that. If you find something displeasing about the store, tell the cashier's in a kind manner in hopes it will reach the owner. Remember they are human, some having to work as late as 10pm for our convenience. Have a great day y'all!”
“I love markets like this - yummy sandwich and sides, lots of options for snacks and drinks. I got a turkey sandwich, sides of macaroni salad and potato salad, chips and a drink. They were all satisfying and I had leftovers for later that I am looking forward to. Staff was friendly and hard at work during the lunch hour, lots of upkeep and organizing going on while I was there.
This is my first time stopping so I can't say much about consistency but would come again when I'm in the area. I couldn't compare as much as I would like because some things were not labeled. I would be more excited about local products, or even just more advertising for product sources. Some room for improvement, and would come again either way!”
“I was looking to buy an angel food cake, and asked a very nice lady if she knew if there was any, today. She said all there is sugar free, and then another bakery worker, came out from the bakery and said that he will get me one!!! YAYAnd he went and got me one, and packaged it right up for me.. That employee's name is Ryan, in the Fortuna Ca store, #975, bakery department.Let me tell you I was so happy!!!”

“Knew the old owners. Local store recently bought by a different family. Still pretty much runs the same. Couple changes, but solid rural store. Pricey butt lots of options”
