“This was my first time washing the first dog I've ever owned and this experience was amazing. I have a fairly large 1-year-old Rottweiler named Winston and the staff was extremely helpful and patient explained everything to me The price was amazing I did the blueberry facial self wash and used the blow dryer area they had de-shedding tools available The staff was knowledgeable if I had any question and they offer grooming services as well in case I wanted to get him a haircut it's just the perfect place. The jams were awesome they were listening to the now that's what I call music CDs and I knew every lyric so I was singing to my dog while I was washing him hands down best experience I could have ever had!! Also you're welcome to whoever got to enjoy my free karaoke show”

“Great place to shop for locally owned pet food brands. I love coming here and just window shopping at times. As a pet parent that has done her research with looking up only the best to feed my kitten, Pet Supply has many of the brands I love. Mouser, Rawz, and Feline natural just to name a few. It's hard to find these brands as they are not sold in your typical petco/smart store. As a bonus, it is right next to a vons so once you are done shopping for your pet, you can also shop for yourself!”
“The store owner Ulysses was very nice, extremely knowledgeable, has a very upbeat personality, and very outgoing, he's also very respectful, will go out of his way to help you with everything you need to know about your animal. Just go in and experience the friendly fun vibe that they provide, it is an awesome store with a lot of products and everything you possibly may need. “Super friendly. They have a 10-item program for most, if not all, if the products they sell. They sell several dog food brands that you can't find at the big pet stores like Badlands Ranch. And they have nice variety of jerky treats and other animal treats, like rabbit, bison, duck, frogs legs, and such.”
“Very friendly there, we met one of the owners they have put 19 years of expertise into this & food science as well as being a chef including pet owner of dogs great to hear it! My frenchie found this place practically booked it out of nowhere while exploring downtown and that’s how we got there, he went around like he was doing the shopping lol. Unfortunately I got a call and had to dash I got a frozen yogurt (blueberry) because of the hot weather I’ve never seen him so absolutely in love with something before lol he finished it In one sitting! looking forward to visit again probably for more of those to beat the heat while we are out! “Had a great first grooming experience for my chorkie Kiki thanks to Felipe. He was kind, very informative and took his time to get my anxious rescue to feel comfortable.
I was worried about how this experience would turn out since I've never dealt with dogs that needed grooming but, honestly, it went much smoother than i thought. Also, the other dogs that were being groomed during that time looked comfortable and well-taken care of.

I called the other location by mistake but the person on the other line(I'm sorry for not knowing your name) was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. I showed up to this location and they were very patient as well as knowledgeable. It was my first time being here and they showed me the options for my occasion. “This store has a very nice staff They accommodated us and took my Zeus in and clipped and buffed his nails . We also did a.DIY bath wash . We preferred it over the Tractor store because of the ease for us to get up close and bath Zeus . Liz and I could be on either side . One.wash and.the other rinse .It didn't smell like wet dog.are and it had three dogs going in the area . It was double the price of the one previously mentioned but we felt.the.price was worth the ease of use and experience and it was closer to our home .”
“This pet store is FANTASTIC!..extremely knowledgeable on reptiles especially. A lovely gal helped me last evening 10/9/23 on selecting a new family member to our home...bearded dragon. The best thing is that this pet store takes in rescues...they also have used aquariums on budget prices which also really helps. I highly recommend this pet store for any if your pet needs.”
“I love this place and my dog does too. I used to make my dog food at home but this business and their expertise has made me have one less thing to do every week or so and it's so nutritious for my dog and it makes me feel proactive for my dogs over all health and wellness. The staff here are so nice, kind, caring and knowledgeable and I appreciate them so much for the love and intention they pour into their dog food. On 10/23 I was also there around 4:30 and this woman walked in and immediately insulted the smell of the place (you're in a raw dog food shop) by saying 'it smells bad in here' and proceeded to stand there and look around while I was being checked out and also going over the reward system and the points I accumulated. We both looked at her kind of in shock, and I was helped out with the rest of my order. She then proceeds to reach over to right in front of me to take dog treats (that are made with love in house btw) and leave. There was no questions about what the place is about or inquiries about what the purpose of the shop was. Just a really rude comments and then proceeds to take free stuff and leave. I (being a human with eyes), reacts and says 'that was so incredibly rude', not weird, RUDE. BECAUSE IT WAS. as a customer and an objective person, I have a right to point out and speak about how incredibly rude and entitled that was. and we both were shocked that someone would walk into an establishment, complain about how it smells and then take free stuff and leave. The review down below giving this place a one star is not surprising given the interaction I witnessed but I just want to say is not at all my experience going here. These people are so caring and thoughtful and passionate. If raw dog food isn't your thing, that's fine but don't insult a passionate company and then complain like they did something to you. You came in with an attitude and then took it to the internet. Honestly crazy.
Anyway, if you want your dog to love eating and be lean and healthy and have energy and support two passionate people who care about canine health and wellness, I 1000% recommend these wonderful people. I will never regret making the investment for my dogs health. I have an 11 year old chihuahua and she still seems like she's 5 because of her diet and I will forever praise and be grateful for these wonderful human beings”
“I want to say the the people (and products) at San Diego Paw Co. are amazing. They always remember me and my doggie, Cali, when I call (I know, caller ID). But even when I surprised them and walked in, the sweet lady that always greets me with a smile pulled up my account without me saying a word. That really impressed me. lol.
They have worked so hard to help us fine tune the picky look we request for Cali, and her last cut was PERFECT. I'm so grateful for them.
If you live in the Little Italy, Downtown, Mission Bay, SD areas I definitely suggest taking your dog to San Diego Paw Co. They're pretty good.

“I’ve been there It’s the best pet shop Ive ever gone to there great with animales. And they hand feed the baby birds they always keep there cages clean and there great with helping people I don’t know why some people like to walk in and start complaining and like saying that the birds weren’t healthy when there really are they must have been doing something wrong because I see the workers there always feeding them even cutting up fruit and vegetables for them like apples and cucumbers.”
