Overall the credit union has amazing services offered and my overall experience I must say has been nothing short of amazing. This credit union has the best programs for Auto Lending and home loans. My most recent experience involved purchasing a vehicle and was offered horrible terms at the dealership. But when I reached out to POLAM they were able to finance me with favorable terms despite being self employed and having to use bank statements to prove income. I went in to the branch to get assistance with a maturing CD that I was having difficulty getting assistance with over the phone. “I've been with Cal Bear Credit Union for a few years now, and I cannot say enough about the professional experience I have received.Member Service Officer Daniel Rincon raised the bar with his utmost professional expertise and determination in getting a loan approved for my son. Since I'm a member, I referred my military son to Mr. Rincon. His overall professionalism and rates were better than the military credit union offered my son, and he was approved in less than 24 hours.My son was stunned. I wasn't because I had bought a vehicle before with the help of Mr. Rincon, and the rates were unbelievable. My son shared the rates with his Sergeant, and the Sergeant couldn't believe the rates Cal Bear offered.Overall, another excellent and professional experience working with Mr. Rincon at Cal Bear. “Went here the other day to deposit a check and get info on a home equity line of credit. Teller was quick, efficient and friendly. Talked to manager about home equity line rates, his name is Eli Norkin. He was super professional and very well-informed. He spent probably 1/2 hour going from A to Z regarding the home equity line. Eli made it really easy to understand how it all works. I know that I'm very well taken care of here at Wescom and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I highly recommend coming here!”
“I'm honestly not sure why there are so many bad reviews here, so I am going to add a good one. I started an account about 25 years ago, and I have been banking with them since. I got into some debt because I had a low-paying job for a while and then was drowning in interest charges. Northrop let me transfer over my debt to a WAY lower interest rate credit card to help me out. Now, they let me have a loan to pay off that credit card, to make the rate even lower, and make SURE I paid it off in a few years, at which point I will be debt-free! Because of their loan, and because I never missed a credit card payment, my credit score is now 820. Once I'm debt-free in a couple years, I will be able to start investing my money and adding to my 401k more aggressively, and possibly even buy a house within the next 5 years. I'm so grateful for them! They may be a little slower to respond than some banks, but it's a credit union with one branch, c'mon. :)”

“I want to acknowledge Mr Paul Smith! I have dealt with him a quite a few times when visiting this location and each time it has been a great experience! He goes above beyond to make sure the customer is happy before leaving . I visited when it was close to closing time .. I'm sure he had things to do and was ready to go but if he did I sure couldn't tell. He stayed past the working hours to make sure I had everything I needed . Not once did he seem irritated or ready to go. He's just a overall good dude . You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers . Employees like this should be acknowledged. I can't see myself going to another credit union . I recommend anyone reading this Yelp to do business here .. if he gets a chance to see this I just want to say thank you again Paul !
