“After having an almost full day at a jiffylube in Huntington Beach because that was the only one near me that did brake jobs, after hearing them hmer away at my drums for inspection and replacement. The could not complete the task so they replaced the front rotors and brakes like I had requested. The recommended a brake fluid flush and replacing the back drums since there was a crack in the rear passenger side rotor. Since this was an emergency job I googled frantically and compared pricing and availability and reliability between brake shops and services near me. I saw E-Z Brakes, saw their reviews. Read up on their website and services they offered. I decided to go for it putting my with in a local mobile service. Scheduled an appointment for the following day as early as possible! Traffic on a weekday hit hard delaying my technician a bit but they were professional and courteous to give me a heads up of an updated eta (estimated time of arrival).
Gio came by as I was leaving my front door to guide him to a spot in front of my car. A little Honda Civic from the 2010s era. I had just moved into the neighborhood. New tenant and all and had completely forgot about the 12pm street sweeping. The alliance employee sped up through various cars which seemed unsafe and came to cite me for having my car on the street. Which was a bummer since the car was already lifted and rear wheel less because it was being serviced for an emergency repair job. The alliance employee showed no empathy and left an impression for that company which will forever be embedded in my memory as u professional and disregard for safety and human empathy.
A ways. I digress. Gio was professional and respectful of all property and an all around cool guy to chill with while he worked. I brought him a bottle of water cuz it was getting intense! Gio worked effortlessly and through it all! Like an unstoppable force of repair, Gio took care of my drum brake system and was able to finish in time for me to be able to make it to work with time to spare! Honestly price didnt matter for me because the job got done even though I had brake drums that were embedded into each other. It was like watching David take on Goliath with my rear drums. If ANY brake issues occur on your vehicle in O.C. I definitely recommend E-Z Brakes. And Parker kept really good communication throughout the appointment setup and answered any questions I had about the job. Definitely worth having them around!”

“Buying a new car is always a little stressful, however this purchase for my 2026 Camry XLE was my easiest by far. I always try to keep in mind that these sales are their bread and butter, so naturally they want to sell you as much as possible and the highest price possible.

I picked out the Camry I wanted on Autonation Toyota Irvine's website and emailed them to initiate the price negotiations. I prefer to use email back and forth until an out-the -door price for the car I want is agreed on. Then go in to finalize the purchase.

I emailed back and forth with Chet and we quickly came to an agreed price. Chet was very good to work with.

My wife and I went in that same afternoon and met with Victoria, she was easy to work with and made a point to cover everything and answer any and all questions (thank you Victoria!).

As we were filling out paperwork, They found out another salesman had sold the car an hour earlier. They quickly scrambled and found a similar Camry XLE at another local dealer. This Camry was more expensive and had some different upgraded features, but they offed it to me at the same price. So I took the deal. Victoria went and picked up the other Camry herself.

They offered me a good price for my old 2009 Camry Hybrid which I added onto the down payment.

We were then turned over to Robert, the finance Manager to complete the sale. He was good to work with and spent time going over and explaining the paperwork. He also covered a the additional warranty options. I never buy extended warranty packages, but this time I did buy the small dent repair warranty. Tthis is basically for door dings and its something I could have used on my previous Camry. It may end up paying for itself in the next 8 years.

The only downside of this purchase was the 5 hours total time we spent at the dealers buying this car. I'm sure having to locate another equivalent Camry XLE was a big factor to that, but it is fatiguing.

So after having my Camry for a week now, I absolutely love it. I have the Heads up display and Panoramic Sunroof which wasn't on my original choice. I am so glad I have them now.”

They kept me up to date via text every step of the way, this time they changed the Oil and replaced the Tires on our F-Type, they did a perfect job, not only that, they were kind enough to fix the Cargo Cover in the Rear. “Overall, a great experience. They did exactly what they said they would do, and I ended up going with custom wheels and tires on my '04 Range Rover that I’m very happy with.

I stopped by on a weekend right before they were opening up and getting a delivery, and the owner was gracious enough to take the time to greet me and help me out. Funny enough, I was originally on my way to another wheel shop I’ve used in the past, but that interaction is what got everything started here.

The wheels came out great and I’m very happy with the finished product. I’m still waiting to hear back regarding suspension work on my other vehicle, but as far as the wheels and tires go—no complaints. Great job overall!”

“They do have one of the cheapest smog checks in Irvine, but keep in mind that you may have to wait about an hour if you don’t come right when they open at 8 AM. If you don’t mind waiting, it’s worth it. If you’re short on time, I’d suggest planning ahead or finding another smog check location.

Overall, the staff was friendly and I had a good experience with their service.”

“I’ve been taking my 2015 Audi Q5 to Jim and Chris at Automotive Plus, initially for the brake service and then the 2011 volkswagen Gti for regular maintence.

Our GTI was stalling and the turbo was losing power due to a leak. They diagnosed the issue, clearly explained everything without any pressure, even show me a video, repaired the leak, and the car is now running fantastic again.

When it came to my 2015 Audi Q5, also diagnosed two issues: the stalling and the brakes. They ran a full diagnostic on the stalling issue, which resolved the problem. They were completely transparent about the findings and reviewed my brake concerns with the same honesty. It turned out only a flush and replacement of the brake fluid was needed due to high moisture content in the reservoir and lines. Oh also a vacuum line was starting to crack thats related.

Their parts and labor costs are very reasonable, and their friendly, straightforward approach makes them a shop I truly trust. Highly recommended.”
