2000 Main St, JulianHighly recommend...FAR better than average food...I ordered the Soup and Curry Chicken sandwich. Sunny, darling diner style restaurant in downtown Julian. Three stars for service only because it was a little slow, but it's probably in line with what you would expect in Julian. Server was darling and professional. Its a small town with a slow pace... Compared to San Diego, so the food did take longer, but it was absolutely delicious. And the environment is super cute and clean... just nothing exceptionally cozy, or decked out so thats why 3 stars for atmosphere. Would definitely come again!

We got the wine and chocolate and 6 wine pair with the dessert wine add on, it was fantastic.

De Los Altos is a great restaurant to visit when in Julian and a must-try if you're craving Mexican flavors. Highly recommend! 🌮🔥

4200 CA-78, JulianGreat cidery serving traditional American ciders. grown, pressed and fermented locally. their orchard is literally in their backyard. similar to a winery, there is a big focus on terroir for their traditional products, and then several more modern style easy drinkers with adjuncts.
the owner is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about cider and happy to chat about his cider and cider in general.
the open layout of the building with a view of the orchard behind is also a great vibe. overall, a superb experience, and looking forward to coming back.

We came here after visiting Julian, where every restaurant had at least an hour-long wait, so we decided to drive here instead. They told us the wait for a table would be about 20 minutes, but unfortunately, it took 40 minutes. If they had told us that from the start, we could’ve taken a walk by the lake instead of just standing around waiting.
The service itself was quick once we were seated. We ordered a burger, fish & chips, and ice cream. The food was delicious, and enjoying it with the sunset view over the lake made the experience even better. However, they forgot about our ice cream and just brought the check instead.
I’d love to give this place 5 stars — the food, location, and scenery are all wonderful — but small service issues like this make it hard to do so.
