We just moved back to Bonita/South Bay in November, and so I had been looking for a Groomer and took my boy and Girl and then two of my girls puppies. Jake and staff are amazing. Thorough, attentive, You can tell they really care about the animals they’re servicing. We had tried another groomer recommended here in Bonita and both my boy and girl had nicks and cuts on their skin from getting shaved too close and the cut/style was just not that great. Completely different experience at Golden Dog… Just check out my pictures! I think we’ve found our permanent groomer!

Specifically Elizabeth was a great help when picking up as she allowed me to wait inside for my ride and helped with bringing my dog out as I had my luggage from a trip with me. Can’t speak highly enough of her and this place. Very reasonable daily rate as well! Definitely the go to place for boarding in the general SD area.

Their location is also very convenient, an easy drive from downtown San Diego and the North Park and South Park neighborhoods. I would absolutely recommend entrusting them with the care of your pets.

Been here 4 times and Joel has always been very attentive. Food is great, I highly recommend the aguachiles. The negro or verde are finger licking good! Good job guys!!!!

2615 Sweetwater Springs Blvd Ste L, Spring ValleyProbably the best pizza spot in town! I've tried Jerry's for lunch on five occasions now, and each time has been a home run. Great food and great service. I have tried the Pepperoni, Supreme, Meat Lover, PBJ, and Hawaiian pizzas and I have not been dissapointed. I also tried their Pastrami sub, it was great but slighty overpriced IMO. Their 2 slices and a drink for $10 is a good deal, I just wish they displayed more options. If you're nearby, this should definitely be your go-to spot. Staff here is always friendly and easy to talk to. Knowing you're supporting a small business is a huge plus as well.
Only downside is I'll probably eat way more pizza than I should for lunch now😅

When I visit a bbq place for the first time I usually try their brisket. If you can't do great brisket then you should just close up shop. Cali's brisket was easily one of the best briskets I have ever had. Tender with a smoke that was on point. I had the sandwich but if I am ever lucky enough to get back to Spring Valley my plan is to order the plate. I chose Mac &Cheese as a side and it was very nicely done. Such excellent food!! I liked that I could sit and watch one of the TVs if I wanted to but ignoring them was possible too. The vibe was very inviting and comfortable. I look forward to visiting again!

Sadly, my fave flavor of all time (red velvet mocha) just got out of season, however, their moonlight magic latte is a great alternative. The coffee and food is phenomenal, along with the service. The prices are affordable. This place always has a long drive thru line for a very good reason! Highly recommend!

First, the atmosphere reminds me of Texas — small-town vibes, friendly people, and neighbors looking out for one another. It just feels like home.
The menu is great, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable, especially for being a little farther out. The cinnamon French toast with raspberry jam? That is absolutely my jam.
One of the things I loved most was seeing people actually talking to each other while they ate. The whole place just felt good. Comfortable. Welcoming.
As we were leaving, Miguel, the owner, was outside on the porch enjoying a cup of coffee. He is incredibly down-to-earth, friendly, and genuinely makes you feel welcome.
They also have live music. I believe every weekend. Date night specials Monday through Thursday, which makes it even better.
We will definitely be regulars here, and it already feels like we've found a place where we can be among friends. ❤

Helix Ct, Spring ValleyPurchasing a Frenchie from a breeder across the country from where we live made us a little anxious at first. Brandon was truly great to work with. He provided regular pics and videos and was available to face time with us so we could see our beautiful pup which set our minds at ease. The work he puts into his litters is very evident. His concern for the health and socialization of his Frenchie's really shows, and when we picked up our little girl, she was even starting to know her name! I highly recommend Melzano Frenchies!
