131 S Crawford Ave, June LakeStopped by for beer and lunch driving up the 395. Beautiful day in December with a good crowd enjoying the mild weather on the patio. There is indoor seating when the weather is not as favorable. Both beers were very good, JLB is a known for decent beer. What surprised me was the food truck, it was absolutely amazing. I went with a carne asada quesadilla that was amazing. Everything on the menu and other people's plates looked great as well. Highly recommend the short diversion to June Lake, 2 miles, for beer and bites. In fact it's now on my list for a couple of days over the summer. Cheers

Eagle's Landing Restaurant
5587 CA-158, June LakeWe stayed at a resort close by so ended up eating at Eagle's Landing 3 times. Twice for dinner, once for breakfast. The restaurant is beautiful with ornate wood carvings and huge fireplace. The waiters at dinner were very attentive. The menu is odd. By the look of the restaurant I expected an elaborate menu. Instead it was limited, offering items like fish tacos, ribs, salmon and a couple of pasta choices. The ribs were good. Salmon was overcooked. The 2nd time, I chose a pasta dish with chicken which was good. Breakfast was very ordinary, home fries were cold. Waitress was almost nonexistent as far as service, though I could hear her conversing with her coworker.
