“as i was installing the last mount for a roof rack, the bolt sheared off. i went to uptown to explain the issue to see if they can help with this unusual job. first, they didn't laugh at me. lauren and the team examined the issue, came up with a proposal and estimate. a couple of days later, they had my car washed and ready to go. not only that, they polished my headlight lenses! the folks at uptown are genuinely friendly and service-oriented. i will not hesitate to recommend uptown!”

“What is cheap isn’t good & what is good isn’t cheap… Quality work & fast turn around times. Brought in my first car back in 2016 which was my 01 e46 330i, then second car which was a 2013 F30 328i, and right now my currently daily which is a 2015 F32 428i. Had my cars in and out the shop and always drove off the shop as if my cars were brand new. Ryan is always super clear and informative and very good at walking me through the processes and overall communication with the shop is excellent! Bav Pros the GOAT”

After several bad experiences with other repair shops, I decided to come back. They first spent time downloading my 10 year Honda service history. They reviewed it carefully with me,

“This was my first time going to Dave's Auto Service and it's always nerve-racking going to a new auto repair shop. Prem immediately jumped on my issue without hesitation and troubleshot the info. He gave me a rundown of what the issue may be, but luckily, it was a super quick and easy fix. Nate diagnosed my Insight issue sur place-by a visual and audial inspection and later confirmed his instinct by putting the car on the hoist and performing thorough diagnostics. I must contrast this process with the over wrought layers of managers and technicians at a local Honda dealership-who in my case, misdiagnosed my issue and unconscionably provided an estimate of repairs of 6K. Nate’s diagnosis and work performed was just over 1/6th cost and definitively nailed the solution. An astonishing first experience with NGG!

“I bought a used Subaru WRX. It died the day I got it (sad). I had it towed to a repair shop to replace the obvious problem (a broken serpentine belt). They said that it was running rough (gross misfires on all cylinders) but couldn't figure it out. I had it towed to another garage. They couldn't figure it out. I had it towed to The Model Garage. They did figure it out: party of the broken serpentine belt got into the timing belt.
The Model Garage solved the problem and did so with good communication and reasonable (low even?) costs. I will return there the future.”

“Gomes Tires was recommended to me 10 years ago by someone who said that Gomes gave them good service at a great deal. Since then Gomes Tires has saved me countless amounts of money over the years. My mother often gets questionable recommendations from her local mechanics so I'll bring her car to Gomes and they let me know what really needs to be done or not and why. Most of the time, the original service recommendations were frivolous and Gomes saved us money. The same has been true with my car.”
