She was incredibly patient, never rushed us, and took the time to answer every single question we had with confidence and professionalism.
Her recommendations were spot on, and you could tell she genuinely cared about making sure everything fit perfectly and looked its best. She explained all of our options clearly and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment.

“We hosted my wife’s milestone birthday here, and it was fantastic from start to finish! Only rented the outdoor space and it had the perfect mix of warmth and energy on a beautiful Socal evening. The staff went above and beyond, staying attentive without being intrusive. I had DJ, food, dessert vendors and 70-ish guests so plenty of space. The music setup worked perfectly, and the lighting added a great vibe once the party got going. Everyone raved on how fun the night was! We left feeling grateful so support this awesome community in Altadena and the venue!”

We chatted about tattoos that we all have and where we got them from. He recommend appropriate sizing for clothing and even made a suggestion to join the Metalwood discord to find sold out items. “My hat is off to the team at Nickel And Dime Skate Shop. Long story short, we don’t have much of an aggressive inline skate shop in Las Vegas unfortunately. I haven’t skated in about 23 years and recently got back rolling, however I have been having a hard time finding skates or making the ones I order offline comfortable, if they even fit. Alan took his time with me today and I didn’t feel rushed and also allowed me to try on some skates and also some liners in the skates that I brought in that I’ve been trying to get Skate-able/comfortable since July, Alan gave me all his years of input and in the end I got a few things and will be skating the boot I want with a new intuition liner that he recommended that took away the pain on a pressure point I was having, the krew put together my new setup with the liners, frames and wheels I purchased, which was much appreciated. The four hour car ride each way from Vegas was well worth it, along with making some new friends in the community! Thank you to Alan and his team!”

Store was easy to navigate by sections and had tons of cool finds. I expected the prices to be LA-stupid but most things actually seemed super affordable, as they should be at this kind of a store. “This is our favorite Old Navy! They always have a great selection and a huge clearance. There is paid street parking, free street parking, and paid parking lots. If you like cute and fashionable clothes at a reasonable price you should check it out. There is a lot of great shops, centers, and restaurants around it… so you can make it a great extended experience.”
“This is an absolute gem and can't recommend enough! Went today to update my wardrobe and the stuff is cute, unique, awesome value, and it's so refreshing to buy from local and real designers rather than some online fast fashion. Haley herself is a joy to be around and she helped style and pick cute items for me. First time in my life I've had jeans that fit on the first try (three pairs!) and I got so many staples plus unique fancy items. Love love love.”

The couple who own it are super friendly and had a ton of knowledge.
They helped me find 3 dope tees and a my wife got a cute little tchotchke for the pad. Way more fruitful than shopping at any of the corporation-owned vintage chain shops.

“Massive shot out to Tammy! I went in to buy a new suit and had one already mind. She suggested I try an alternative one that will fit my body type better. I did not know my size or anything and she was able to figure all that out for me. Her suggestion looked way better than the one I had picked out and on top of that she even told me I should be getting $100 off it too! “I stopped by this Gap today because I was waiting for my friends to join me for dinner nearby. This place had a lot of sales since it's almost Black Friday and the Christmas time. This store is a decent size and looked fully stocked when I came tonight. I looked at the men jeans and jacket which some were nice. Then I walked to the back and looked at the kids clothing. The selections of clothing here are good and the prices with the discount I believe is fair. I didn't interact with any employees or see any employees on the floor, most of them were working the cashier.”

“I have been coming to this place since they opened in HLP. There was probably a time that every shirt I wore was a Freenote shirt. The guys that work here are wonderful, super chill and really easy to kick it with. They have a bomb ass samples sale twice a year that you can get some of the best clothes anywhere for 40-60 percent of the normal purchase price. So follow them on instagram. They also throw parties which is pretty dope. And the clothes are just utterly fantastic. Whether it's jeans, shirts, or jackets (even shoes and hats) you can't go wrong. They are ONE of a KIND in my book.
