“Yesterday we went to exchange a watch G-Shock and we were in hope of variety , so we encountered Vincent Niemczyk , I hope I’m spelling that right , and he was so wonderfully polite and helpful! He actually showed us that one watch left , 1 G-Shock in the entire store ! But it was definitely the best one thus far ! So we decided to proceed with the exchange, and Vincent was very helpful he even advised us it was 50% off !!!! Wow , we were even more happy with the news ! Vincent not only helped us with our issue and resolved it , but also helped us set up the time on our new watch ! That was so important for us and we didn’t feel rushed or needy , we felt right at home and Vincent had wonderful customer service , which the people at the Glendale location Macys didn’t have !!!! “I really missed the class sing of the Big Lots in Pasadena. I was coming home from high desert and my sister in law and I stopped on our way home. I had forgotten how large this store was. Had a great time spending money and was able to restock on multiple items that start always bought at Big Lots. Good shopping.”
“Was in search for some black colored Duct tape. So , my Lady and I set off for Big Lots, where she enjoys shopping from time to time. I found this 1" roll of Gorilla Duct tape that I needed to replace the shiny gray ugly, reflection off the top of the dashboard of. Our Avenger. Worked like a charm so far? Lol! Once I a while I get lucky in more ways than 1. So therefore, I'm going out on a limb to say I will, for the time being, will Co-Sign for this business, for now, so stay tuned for my next encounter with a business. “Following most other local shopping outlets in SoCal, Costco has finally succumbed to the relentless entitlement of its customers who unabashedly insist on parading their puppies through the store under the guise of "service animals," when it is clear they are merely household pets. The root cause is a misbegotten ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) regulation that prevents management from requesting any hard evidence or documentation that animals are in fact trained and certified to perform needed services for their owners. The regulation permits only two questions to be asked (just Google it) and all but encourages pet owners to lie about the legal status of their pets. Costco has all but surrendered to the murky legal landscape and now joins the majority of food retailers in hosting a menagerie of mutts on leashes and even -- yes! -- in baby carriages -- pets posing as bona fide service animals, clogging the aisles and wandering underfoot to the detriment of shoppers who are already overcrowded. This is a travesty and the ADA needs desperately to update its regulatory framework, allowing for a wallet-sized document that can and should be produced on demand to show that Fido has honest business being in the store with his owner. Also, Costco should still be pressing harder to get honest answers to the two qualifying questions they are permitted to ask, before granting entrance to four-footed frauds.”

The store is always clean and well-organized, the prices are pretty good for the quality. Staff are chill and helpful when you need them. “I’ve been a frequent shopper at this Walmart,
and I am writing to highly commend Nyota in the Customer Service department. Who is consistently outstanding. She demonstrates a level of product knowledge and problem-solving expertise that is rare to find.
She doesn't just resolve issues; she manages them with a level of professional composure and efficiency that clearly sets her apart from the others. She always goes the extra mile to ensure every question is answered and every issue is resolved correctly the first time.
Nyota consistently operates with the mindset of a leader. She is highly knowledgeable, professional, and handles even the most complex situations with ease.
I strongly believe she should be formally recognized and considered for a management role, and I hope the store leadership recognizes and appreciates her talent and promotes her accordingly.
I often see her guiding her peers, which shows she is already acting in a leadership capacity, which is a huge green light for a promotion. As she is already a standard-bearer for excellent service at the Burbank store (#5686). It is clear that she understands the operations of this store inside and out. She is clearly management material and deserves a promotion for her continued excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Nyota is an absolute asset to this store.

“My wife neglected to bring some items from AZ so we popped in the store. While she looked around, I found her two blouses and a pair of Sperry Topsider shoes. To my surprise, she snatched them from me and we were done in no time. Great finds!”

“Only 11 Sears stores remain and this is likely the one functioning most like a full department store.
Items are oddly spaced out to give perception of fullness, but it does have complete department store sections. There were things in the store I’d actually buy, which can’t be said for a few other remaining stores. Appliance section is the most complete and would go there if I needed anything. Interestingly has a decent sized toy section though it’s oddly placed.”

I had a wonderful customer service experience at the Hollywood Western Marshalls location and felt compelled to leave a review to highlight two outstanding associates: **Edith C. and Valerie R.**
I came in to do an exchange and was using my TJX Rewards for the first time. I initially thought the transaction would be simple—an exchange followed by a separate purchase using my credit card—but it turned out to be much more complicated. The system wouldn’t allow it the way I expected, required cash, and wouldn’t accept my TJX card, which meant the transaction had to be voided and refunded onto a gift card. It involved multiple steps and even required another associate to assist.
Despite all of this, Edith and Valerie were **exceptionally patient, calm, and kind** throughout the entire process. They never made me feel like I was holding up the line, never rushed me, and truly focused on resolving the issue correctly. Their professionalism and empathy stood out.
As a former TJX employee myself, I know firsthand how challenging situations like this can be, and I truly appreciated the grace and care they showed. Customer service like this feels rare these days, and when I encounter it, I believe it deserves recognition.

“I went with my brother to purchase some items and to use my coupons, but one of the ladies didn’t want us didn’t want to use my coupon because it wasn’t scanning correctly, but then we talked to this other lady named Leticia and she helped us manually put in the code for my coupon so that I can get a discount. I don’t know why the other lady didn’t want to manually put the information into the system. Leticia L. did a great job and she was able to give me my discounts. She saved the day, otherwise I would have left.”

“Macy's is quite pricey, but the merchandise they sell is top notch. I purchased a pair of blue Levi's, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I searched for the pants, tried them on and paid for them in about 10 minutes. Add about 5 minutes from my car to Macy's and back to my car. I'm Happy.”

Selection here is great.
Hair and body have the largest selection I've seen.
Loosing a star due to checkout.
The only MAJOR issue I have with this location is the HUGE line ALL the time.
Look, I get it. Corporate gives payroll and that's what they have to work with so not fully the management teams fault.
But there have been many times when I waited 30-45 minutes in line. I have also quite often second guessed what I had in my cart and abandoned it and walked out due to not wanting to wait.”
