“The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I use a mobility scooter. Unfortunately, it is too big for the little elevator that they have for wheelchairs. I only have to go down 4 steps. Again, the staff are friendly. The location works too, and it has a walk-up ATM.”

“I went in the Navy Federal Credit Union at 200 Catalina Blvd San Diego to open an account on 12/20/2019. My father was an enlisted man and was honorably discharged in 1956. I had his DD Form 214 in hand to show proof that my father was in the Navy. I was met by very friendly receptionist who gave me a packet to review. Within two minutes, Symphonie, the teller took me back to an office. Symphonie was very personable, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the credit union. Within 20 minutes, I had an account opened with a debit card in hand! So far, NFCU beats any bank in town. You couldn't have a better location over looking the Pacific Ocean and parking was a breeze. If you are able to join, I would definitely recommend Navy Federal Credit Union.”

If you want personalized service, this is definitely the place to go.I recently had my user name and password stolen. Obviously wanted to change account info. as soon as possible. Delia K. and Deanna P. to the rescue. They came up with a solution to my problem. They fixed my accounts and all the worry associated with stolen info. They not only resolved the situation but stayed long after the credit union had closed to make everything right. Talk about customer service! How many other banks or credit unions would do that?Just amazing.”

“I just finished going through the process of obtaining a HELOC. At first I wasn't 100% sure on whether or not I wanted a HELOC or to go with other options. I called a few credit unions, and I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air Wheelhouse Credit Union was. First, they actually called me back. They weren't able to answer my call the first time I called but called me back promptly (I was shocked because the other credit unions that I had left messages with, to this day have yet to call me back). Second, the conversation I had with my first point of contact was informative, helpful and frankly so friendly that I knew then I was going to work with this credit union. The gentleman I was speaking to was hilarious, polite and actually seemed as though he wanted my business, something which is very rare these days. Victor Leu is a gem and Wheelhouse is lucky to have him. If you are going to get a loan, make sure you are working with him. He keeps things moving and answered my calls with a great attitude every time. He promptly responded to my emails and always answered my questions. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient with me and very polite. “The manager at this location, Imelda Gemoto Quimpo is fantastic! I came in with an unusual request for assistance, helping out a CU member now in Belize. Imelda listened carefully and we worked together over a period of days trying to get things working. I ultimately had to refer my friend to the official SDCCU Technical Support line, but Imelda did everything she could up to that point. A really sweet nice person, knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating.”

“I had to stop by and drop off a personal loan payment. Security was professionally nice. Wait was not bad. Clean Credit Union location. Everyone was extremely nice. I was greeted and helped by teller Edwin. He helped me with my payment transaction. Since this was my very first payment. He walked me through the steps to do my future payments. He also wrote everything down for me. I was blown away because he took the time to do that for me. He didn't have to. But he did. To insure I do it right. You don't see that time of customer service situations anymore. Please give Edwin kudos. He was professional and polite. And is an asset to this location! Please give kudos to the lady Security guard too!”
