“I just finished going through the process of obtaining a HELOC. At first I wasn't 100% sure on whether or not I wanted a HELOC or to go with other options. I called a few credit unions, and I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air Wheelhouse Credit Union was. First, they actually called me back. They weren't able to answer my call the first time I called but called me back promptly (I was shocked because the other credit unions that I had left messages with, to this day have yet to call me back). Second, the conversation I had with my first point of contact was informative, helpful and frankly so friendly that I knew then I was going to work with this credit union. The gentleman I was speaking to was hilarious, polite and actually seemed as though he wanted my business, something which is very rare these days. Victor Leu is a gem and Wheelhouse is lucky to have him. If you are going to get a loan, make sure you are working with him. He keeps things moving and answered my calls with a great attitude every time. He promptly responded to my emails and always answered my questions. I couldn't ask for a better experience which was mostly due to his involvement in the process. Thank you Victor! I highly recommend working with Wheelhouse Credit Union for your loan.”

“My Elderly Mother loves this place! I had to drive my elderly Mother to the branch because she was stressed out over a transaction and it was bumming me out seeing her like that but as soon as we walked through the doors and approached the representative at the door the patients and personal attention that was presented calmed me down and out of the blue a representative who has been helping my Mother in the past (Nico) took over and brought us to her desk and easily solved my Mothers problems and answered all our questions. I went down there today worried that they wouldn’t understand her but I was wrong they took very good care of her.”

“I went in the Navy Federal Credit Union at 200 Catalina Blvd San Diego to open an account on 12/20/2019. My father was an enlisted man and was honorably discharged in 1956. I had his DD Form 214 in hand to show proof that my father was in the Navy. I was met by very friendly receptionist who gave me a packet to review. Within two minutes, Symphonie, the teller took me back to an office. Symphonie was very personable, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the credit union. Within 20 minutes, I had an account opened with a debit card in hand! So far, NFCU beats any bank in town. You couldn't have a better location over looking the Pacific Ocean and parking was a breeze. If you are able to join, I would definitely recommend Navy Federal Credit Union.”

She was extremely knowledgeable, patient with me and very polite. I was trying to get ahold of my complete vehicle payment history, and she went out of her way to call on my behalf to see if there was a more efficient way to do it. Long story short there wasn’t, but again went out of her way to streamline the documents as much as she herself possibly could. ON TOP OF THAT, she labeled the end of each years statement with sticky notes, and paper clippped the documents together in a folder with my name written on it! “I had to stop by and drop off a personal loan payment. Security was professionally nice. Wait was not bad. Clean Credit Union location. Everyone was extremely nice. I was greeted and helped by teller Edwin. He helped me with my payment transaction. Since this was my very first payment. He walked me through the steps to do my future payments. He also wrote everything down for me. I was blown away because he took the time to do that for me. He didn't have to. But he did. To insure I do it right. You don't see that time of customer service situations anymore. Please give Edwin kudos. He was professional and polite. And is an asset to this location! Please give kudos to the lady Security guard too!”
