“I have been craving fried fish since ports o'call closed and we moved to Lancaster. Growing up in the LA proper and San Fernando valley let me constantly be exposed to foods from different cultures. This little gem made me remember why I love small businesses and reminded me to not judge based on a couple bad reviews. This place hit the spot! The cashier was so lovely as we walked in, the store could use a remodel, but for the prices and small staff, that is a minuscule issue. Everything we noticed was clean, no dust, and properly displayed. I love small store feel and this store is great! Tons of seafood items that tickled me pink and variety of items that easily can stock your pantry ( if you are adventurous and diverse in your eating ) lots of items from the Philippines, Japan tidbits, even some Caribbean items that makes it a gem. The cons which is only there if you compare it to huge markets... small staff, not a huge diversity of "American " food. The pros- small business, fried fish~ frozen sashimi for at home sushi, furikake for home rice and ramen, jerky marinade for oxtail, and amazingly sweet cashier~ and clean shelves. I left smiling from ear to ear and so glad that this little gem is only about 2 miles from me. It had more than the basics and made me feel more at home than most big stores.”

“The meat counter is the best. For the most part they have everything I'm looking for. Occasionally they drop a brand but nothing so far to cause me to shop elsewhere. I do suggest watching what is scanned. Today I was charged for a third item that I only got two. Normally I buy more at a time and wouldn't have even thought to check my receipt, time to start really paying attention. It was only $4 but could have been much more and then repeated over time...”
“I come in every morning before school, I'm always greeted with positive vibes and the guys who work up there are really great. The customer service is great and the snacks are great, I'm underage but I bet the other stuff is great to lol. 10/10 highly recommend”

“I just love this little Mom and Pop market that is only a quarter mile from my home. It's the kind of place where you slow down to look at everything they offer, because they've got a little of a lot.Bicycle inner tubes, nice, thick, good quality gigantic t-shirts, every soda, fruit and specialty drink you can possibly imagine and some you've never heard of but will love to try; a display case of inexpensive but nicely made blingy earrings, a well-stocked smoke shop, a candy and snack aisle, a grocery aisle, a household goods aisle, basic auto supplies, barbeque supplies, it's amazing, the variety of items they thoughtfully stock.The guys who own and operate the business are friendly, accessible, polite and accommodating. They handle sensitive or personal purchases discreetly. I once saw one of them call 911 and stay with an older woman suffering from what appeared to be heat stroke on a very hot day until paramedics arrived.They seem to care about the community they serve, an old school way of life that is unfortunately rare but appreciated.”
