“This is the best sandwich shop in Healdsburg. There’s a couple of other good options but this place takes the cake in my opinion. There are many hot and cold options on the menu or you can build your own. The breads are great and all of the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. Plenty of drink and chip options and the staff is great. It’s off the beaten path but worth the trip out of downtown Healdsburg. Small parking lot but ample amount of free street parking.”

“Wow! I thought the complete Holiday Turkey dinner at Thanksgiving was great, so we ordered the complete Prime Rib dinner for Christmas. It was delicious! Just like at Thanksgiving, every individual dish was really delicious - there were none that were just average. I've gotten to the age where I've cooked holiday meals for decades, and have earned the right for someone to cook it for me. Hands down - Big John's is the place for all of our holiday meals going forward. The kitchen staff should be congratulated for the food they put out - thank you guys!”

“Special thanks to the great staff at this store. Christmas Eve, as I was getting ready to cook for the next day, I realize that I had forgotten the main ingredient for the desert I promise to bring to the family gathering the next day. Total panic! I rushed down to this market, and they were closing, and sweetly escorting the last of the customers to their cars. As I ran up to the door the manager had just locked the door, and the lights were being turned off. I was desperate because my family was expecting my special treats! Not only did the manager open up the store for me, they escorted me through the isles with a flashlight while I found my chocolate, and then opened up a register to ring me up . I have never experienced such compassion at a grocery store in my life! These people are absolutely fantastic. Every time I've been in there, I received kind smiles and great service. Thank you thank you thank you to the wonderful angels of Fircrest market!”

“Our favorite grocery store. Where safeway makes you feel like cattle on the way to slaughter, Raleys is at a slower pace that i literally pay for that privilege. The pharmacy ROCKS! They consistently advocate for my partner, who has constant battles with pharmaceutical insurance issues, to get them to provide life-saving medications. Everyone is kind there. They have interesting holiday and home oddities. We will always shop here over Safeway.”

“I've been wanting to visit this market for ages and I'm so glad I finally did! Such a neat, well-organized store with lots of products and friendly staff. Gorgeous display of produce, the butcher counter has a beautiful selection of meats that all looked so good it was hard to choose (we went with arrachera marinada), but the bakery case of fresh pan dulces really won my heart. The conchas are lighter than air and besos are some of the best things I've ever eaten. I'm looking forward to going back!”

“This is just about the best and most friendly little hole in the wall produce place ever. They generally have a great selection of the basics when it comes to fruit and veggies. Never eaten from the meat counter, but the place smells very clean. The staff is usually super friendly. It's a great place to grab some onions and oranges and celery. And you'll feel good about it.”

“I had a huge craving for some Mexican pastries. Usually i go to Lola's Market but I thought I'd try out a new place. I'm glad I did! As soon as I walked in, I got a wiff of fresh bread. Sure enough, the lady at the bakery was putting out some freshly baked pastries. My favorite is the concha. If you've never had one, drop what you are doing and go get one! It is the best thing to ever have been created (pastry wise). They had an assortment of different types. They had yellow, pink, chocolate and white concha's available. Unlike the pink ones. These concha's are huge and have a lot of the sugar on the top. Just the way i like them! After getting my concha's, I decided to check out the rest of the store. They have a wide selection in Mexican products. Ones you can't really find at Safeway. The meat department also offers a good variety of meat cuts at great prices. The workers were super friendly and helpful, regardless of what department I was in. They were playing music in Spanish and it just gave the whole experience at the store that Mexican vibe you can't get at a regular grocery store. I'll definitely be coming here more often!”

“Food: 5/5Tried the pistachio ricotta cake. I really was craving tiramisu but they did not have any and I do love pistachio so gave it a try. The layers melt in your mouth and the top layer has a slight crisp and powdered sugar on it that is amazing. Service: 5/5 I rushed here right before closing and a gentleman came out of his way to go package the slice for me which was very kind. Not much of a line as it was closing time, Ambiance: 4/5 Not too busy, but again, I came a bit late (planning to leave before they closed if I didn't find anything). If it wasn't closing time, I would have definitely shopped a bit more around.”

“I ordered some of the catering trays from Oliver's. I ordered the meat/cheese, condiments, veg, fruit, and grilled veg trays for a memorial service. They were packaged in very sturdy boxes that were easy to stack, the trays were gorgeous! Absolutely beautiful! Everyone was so incredibly impressed by not only the look but they all tasted really good. The grilled veg tray was by far everyone's favorite! The staff was very nice and helpful and the end product was artwork! Thank you Oliver's for making a stressful situation so very relaxing!”

“Love coming here during my lunch for their sandwiches and soups. Some of my favorite sandwiches are the tomato mozzarella and the grilled chicken pesto sandwich. I usually order over the phone and they have them ready by the promised time. They have a section near the deli, where the soups and containers located. You have to serve yourself and take it to the checkout line. It's a well organized store, it is always clean and they have a great variety of products.”
