“My experience with Linda Lippstreau has been amazing, she has gone out of her way to help me with my PPP loan and forgiveness, I have heard of other similar experiences with her and will continue to support Bank of Marin.”

“We had an errant check issue-funds we were paid but the check would not clear. Lisa jumped in and discovered a contact with a previously "uncontact" bank and cleared up our issue within an hour. Wow! Great stuff!”

“You will either love or hate this bank. It's saying something that some people actually fall into the former category because today banks are just massive money manipulators. Some people blame all the troubles of the world on the central banks and their biggest distributors. Lesser lights in the sky like Bank of America just make the game local, bringing corporate finance and government fiat to a shopping center near you, disguised of course as the big friendly bank for everybody. Then there's Wells which may help you by creating new accounts for you, no need to sign or know anything. And their people always seem to leave within a month or so, who were they? where did they go? When you look at this Bank of the West branch on Magnolia you know this is from another and slower age, like George Bailey's bank in Wonderful Life. You almost wonder if they keep all the records here on a napkin in the back. I especially admire their safe deposit box door, which nobody can crack after hours, or so it seems anyway. The bank has been itself owned by the 7th largest bank in the world based in Paris, but was just sold to the Bank of Montreal (BMO Group) so there may be changes in the near future. Hope not because I've been doing a certain kind of limited banking business here for maybe 8 years. I doubt I'd do all of it here, but it is heartening that the people here are the same people I met when I first came in the door. Stan is a favorite, very interesting guy from Siberia I believe. He's thorough, gets business done quickly, and will always take a few moments to have a little personal conversation unless the place is very busy. Now there are always downsides to any anachronism, and overall the good and bad here is the pace of things. You might be in line a few minutes longer than you want, and then again maybe not. The bank is small and customers aren't so many so there is never a line out to the massive front door. Also no phony greeter at the door asking how s/he can be of assistance. Once it's your turn mostly things go well here. We'll see if the iCanadians run things differently. But we have plenty of other banks around already with people inside who only know you by your account number, if that speaks to you.”

“I like the bankers, overall, all the personnel. They are very helpful and polite. I've been a Wells Fargo customer for over 30 years and I feel very comfortable with their services and doing business with them.”

“Wells Fargo really screwed me over and lost a large amount of money. However, Jacqueline Alvarez saved the day and did as much as she possibly could to help me. She worked with me for months to resolve the issue, followed up and found the best route possible to get my money back. She's an amazing asset for this team.”
