For example, recently I ordered something and when I realized it would not fit in my car they offered to drive it over to my home, on the spot, for FREE. My goodness. “Alberto and Rosa know their stuff on all things welding and fencing. I built a back fence in my large yard in Lathrop and got all materials and references here. Alberto is kind enough to share a ton of information and tips and strategies to save money and time. Their approach is nice and personal too so it’s feels like a genuine convo rather than them trying to sell me on things. Appreciate it!”
“HFT is a good place to find all sorts of tools, tarps, storage solutions and more. Avoid their low end power tools. The location on Oakdale Rd. and the store in Sonora are very clean, well organized and friendly. The older store on Carpenter Rd in Modesto is old and could use a face-lift.”

“Usually people try to upsale or get you to buy something before walking out of the store. Here I got the opposite. I got an employee who seemed to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Instead of selling me simply what I asked for he asked what my goal was. After seeing I needed something completely different he guided me in the steps to get where I needed to be. Definitely will be back”

“I moved to Tracy about 4 years ago. I have been welding since I was 8 years old and I'm 48 now, I grew up in a small rural town where you had to know how to weld and there were a couple of iron works companies in town one that was there since the gold Rush days. Even being that old and established and growing up on that kind of place I didn't know of any place here to get my supply of rod and gas. I went to air gas in redwood City but you know how they treat people. So I found this little spot in Tracy and went in. My first impression was how is she going to know what I need. Yes I was stereo typing and I'm sorry. She took care of my exchange of my gas quicker then I have ever had it before and the knowledge of the different tips and rods for my Tig welder blew me away. I will put your store and your knowledge before any other shops in the area and even the oldest shoo in northern California any day. You are the only place I will ever go now even when I run out of gas on Friday and have to wait all weekend until you open on Monday”
