“We had an awesome stay at this Best Western Plus hotel in Lawndale! My childhood friend and I booked a room with two Queen beds and it was perfect for what we wanted.

We felt perfectly safe at all times (day and night)...We did not see any homelessness in or around the hotel during our stay.

Our room was very clean, quiet, and spacious. The AC worked well and having both a fridge and microwave was wonderful.

The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Having access to free parking and a great selection of things for a complimentary breakfast (including bagels/toast, cream cheese, jams, peanut butter, juices, yogurt, eggs, fruit, cereals, waffles, etc.) was amazing and saved us a great deal of money.

The staff throughout the hotel were lovely…especially the gentleman (named Hassan) at the front desk who met all of my requests when I phoned a few days before arrival (eg. Quiet room, location towards front of hotel, pool towels, etc).

You have to request daily housekeeping and they will make a note of it for the time you want to have your room cleaned daily.

There is even a pool and hot tub for those who wish to use it, with dedicated pool towels. In addition, there is a washer/dryer on the main floor available for those who may need it.

The hotel is situated well if you have a car rental…eg. 15 min drive to Manhattan Beach or the airport. Very close to some great shopping as well. :)

“My room was extremely clean and super nice for a smaller scale hotel. staff was nice and friendly despite my do not disturb sign on the door the staff still asked us if we needed anything which i thought was nice. the location is in a good area almost right in between all the things you want to do. shopping centers, targets, many different food choice all within walking distance. this was a nice little weekend getaway (i work 3 days on 3 days off) this was my weekend well spent.”

“Great stay central to everything. Totally walkable area convenient on foot to Sprouts, Target, Starbucks, and much more. Great staff, caring and responsive. Stayed in a smoking room. Very clean. Beds are perfectly firm, no aching in the morning. Mattress topper is soft but you don’t sink in the mattress! Perfect. Value is reasonable and plenty parking. If near the elevator people can get loud at night coming in from their events and weekend adventures. Otherwise you’ll sleep sound. No disturbances and security on site nightly!”
