“Took a last minute dive trip and realized I didn't have any contacts or a current contact Rx. I ordered expedited custom Rx goggles from Prescription Dive Masks. Within a few minutes of submitting the order, they called me to discuss and helped me make a few changes to my order. They got me the goggles several days before my trip and they were perfect. Too notch service. I would absolutely recommend them.
Are they expensive? Yes, all custom Rx goggles are. But they're an investment! And totally worth it!”
“Updating this in April of 2024. My below comments still hold true. I would also add that I love their Barrety! You can arrange for up to 20 people to take a private class. It’s a great way to hang with friends!This is one of my favorite studios in San Diego. First it's very clean and neat. Second, the staff is super friendly and personable. Third, the class itself is challenging yet appropriate for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tucker, you will feel the burn and leave feeling like you got a good workout. I must add that this is great for people recovering from back injuries. Tightening my core has helped with my back problems! Make sure to take a class with John! He’s a great instructor and hilarious!!”

“I have done multiple transfers with Don and his wife over the years. Other shops in the county don't compare to the service and value you get with Don. I was once an FFL myself in California, and really feel for these people as I understand how they are constantly and continually harassed and abused by our State's communist regime. Residents of the county need to support local FFL's because if we don't eventually we will have a corporate dominated retail gun industry in California that will be in a position to dictate pricing.”

“I have read the negative reviews for this place. However, for me in terms of all SURF related products, it’s always been a positive experience. Just be very knowledgeable of the products you want to purchase and how much it costs online/other stores. Hangar 94 offers VERY good deals on all surf gear and boards. They also have an amazing selection on wetsuits and all surfboards. A lot cheaper than Birds Surf Shed or Surf Ride. Just know how much you’re willing to spend and if it makes sense to you and it’s a good deal then you will leave happy from this place. Will come back again for clothing or surf gear and even surfboards!”

“I bought a set of TaylorMade golf clubs at this store over 23 years ago. My wedge got a ding in it my first time out and they let me trade the set in on a different set. I chose a set of Wilson Fat Fhafts and they served me very well for over 20 years. I went again today to buy a used set of ladies clubs for my fiance and though there weren't many options there was an excellent deal on an incomplete used set of Ladies Edge Tour Edge clubs and stand bag. I ended up with a great deal for some excellent clubs and even though it's a few clubs short of a full set, no pun intended, it was a great buy. Only four stars because of a lack of inexpensive options but if you shop wisely, they are there to be found.”
“When I searched for Paradowski's it did not come up in the search and found it to be closed. I was shocked and confused but saw other reviews on the (closed) Paradowski's yelp page that it was still open, so I drove by. This used to be Paradowski's Swim and Sport, guess it got bought out by a larger company, Swim West. The logo still kept a remnant of the old business. If you're a swimmer, they have a wide variety of goggles, fins, as well as swim suits and wet suits and other swim related items that you'll have a hard time finding at a general sports shop. I came in to buy goggles when my old ones broke. I looked thru the goggles and they had both regular ones and optical ones with lenses that were like reading glasses so they had magnification in them. Thats the type of thing you won't find in a general sports store. The problem is that there were no prices listed on the goggles. The workers are friendly and they can price check items for you, but I found it odd that the same model optical goggles were cheaper than the standard ones. Guess I shoulda just got the optical ones. Swim west is located in the turn around area of a cul de sac, theres enough parking right in front. They took my name and that got me 5% off which I though was cool. I didn't see any of the discounted items from Paradowski's like swim caps from teams they had sponsored in the past for half off, (just extras that they sold for cheap.) If you're a swimmer they have a larger selection of goggles and items that you won't find in your normal sports shops, like a mask with the snorkel in the middle for lap swimmers, and things of that nature.”
“Great pouches for G3/PTR/CETME mags. I was looking high and low for some molle compatible mag pouches until I found these online. Great fit for the HK 7.62x51 (or .308, whatever) magazines. Little tight the first couple times but break in great and even work well for reindexing partially-empty magazines. These are so good, I ordered another set for another build.
Customer service is friendly and the gear is great quality. Will buy from these guys again.”
“I'm from L.A. Took my ball to get drilled on a Sat if it could be done by Sunday. Unfortunately they are closed on Sundays. It was 2pm, I had a dinner appt at 5. They had balls to drill ahead of me. By 4pm, they called me to tell me it was ready. Excellent service. Reviews are completely accurate.”
