“Updating this in April of 2024. My below comments still hold true. I would also add that I love their Barrety! You can arrange for up to 20 people to take a private class. It’s a great way to hang with friends!This is one of my favorite studios in San Diego. First it's very clean and neat. Second, the staff is super friendly and personable. Third, the class itself is challenging yet appropriate for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tucker, you will feel the burn and leave feeling like you got a good workout. I must add that this is great for people recovering from back injuries. Tightening my core has helped with my back problems! Make sure to take a class with John! He’s a great instructor and hilarious!!”

“My friends and I regularly rent kayaks from Aqua Adventures - they are the best!!! So friendly and helpful. If it's your first time they teach you how to get on and off from dock to kayak - it's not THAT intuitive if you're a klutz like me! Don't be shy - just look confused and they will help you. Aqua Adventures is located in a great area of Mission Bay where the water is nice and clear and you'll see fish under the water, lots of cool birds (look up in the tall trees for massive nests), sea lions, and occasionally turtles. You can vicariously visit Sea World and stop at the multiple beaches in the many coves. We always like to take some time to retrieve trash that has escaped into the water. I always feel filled up with fresh air and the lovely feel of gliding on the water after kayaking and especially love the ease of not having to put a kayak on and off of my car! Thank you Ashley and company!”

“Great experience. I have been trying to order a surfboard from Hawaii (Jimmy Lewis), but several other dealers weren’t able to get it in or wanted me to pay up to $400 extra for shipping. West Coast paddle Sports was able to get it in for me in under 10 days. Also, there was a small crack from shipping that wasn’t their fault and the owner matched the paint perfectly and did a repair, so good I couldn’t even tell where the crack was. I’ve had a lot of surfboards repaired and this was the best job I’ve ever had. Not only will I be going back to them to purchase more boards, but I think I will make the hour and a half drive from my house to have him do repairs. 5 stars.”

“This place is full of various surfboards and other awesome stuff! I got a board here with fins, leash, and wax for $200. The board is in great shape (shown in picture) it has one ding on the top that is repaired. Most boards in the shop also had all their dings repaired or were labeled clearly. They also sell snorkels, wetsuits, boogie boards, fins, those towel ponchos… totally recommend.Buy used!! yay!! save the earth!”
