Joe, Fred, and Jason, their Dirtbox installer, take pride in their work and truly care about their customers. According to Joe and Fred, it’s common for even high quality manufacturers of off-road products to fall short on documentation and written instructions. Even though this leads to a certain amount of confusion and miscommunication, the mechanics here know their stuff, and they get the job done remarkably well. If something isn’t quite right, they take care of it. Simple as that. Jason’s intelligence, experience, and attention to detail really show when he does an install. I have never, ever dealt with such considerate people in the automotive industry. Totally worth a 1-hour drive each way.”

“Barry is the man!! Very friendly and patient! Dude knows his stuff and will be very honest and transparent with you from the jump! After lifting and putting 37's on my truck she was very sluggish. Barry confirmed the gear ratio I chose would be the best for my setup so from 3.73 to 4.56 I went and dam she's got her power back! It seems that people all over the bay and the valley come to him so he works with you on dropping off the vehicle and picking up. If you live within 100 miles from this shop do it I guarantee you wont regret it!”

“So I got a couple of estimates to fix a dent on my vehicle. This shop was super nice, looked at my vehicle and about an hour later emailed me my estimate, which I thought was reasonable, so I decided to use them.
I filed a claim with my insurance company on-line. The insurance company paid me but it was a VERY low estimate. California Reflections worked with my insurance company to get the right repair done and got the part ordered. They installed the new part, the paint finish matched and was flawless. They communicated well and it was a breeze to use them. They did great work. Would definitely would use them again, but hope I don't have too.”

“Monument is a small shop, one of many here in Livermore, but the one that our mechanic recommended to us when our car battery died and we needed someone to bench test it to see if it would recharge or if we needed to replace it. The staff there was great and took our battery to put it on a charger and see if it would take the charge. An hour later, it was obvious that it would not (a battery from Costco that was just under 3 years old on a limited/pro-rated 3-year warranty so not much use in returning it there).
Fortunately, the top of the line AC Delco battery at monument is a 3 and 1/2 year warranty and fully covered if the battery doesn't last for the full 3 and 1/2 years. I feel much better about this purchase and glad that we visited monument car parts for this issue. Thanks team!”

“My car overheated on the Altamont Pass in 90 degree weather in the middle of move! This Autozone was the closest auto parts store near me and I am so glad I was able to make it this store! I came into the store looking for some antifreeze and told the store manager, Gabriella Cuevas, what was going on. Gabriella advised me to talk to the mechanic shop across the street because the reservoir tank was full of antifreeze and the car had been having other issues but had previously been serviced at a mechanic’s shop at home. Gabriella and another employee went above and beyond! They allowed my car to stay parked in front of the store for more than two hours (2 hour street parking restrictions) because of it was full of my belongings as I was in the middle of a move. Gabriella and her colleague walked me across the street to show me the closest mechanic shop as I am not from the area. After speaking to the mechanic my car ended up being towed back home 6 hours after I came into AutoZone. After Gabriella had clocked out of her shift from AutoZone she saw me across the street and even helped me call different tow companies to check availability as no one was available to tow my car 100 miles on a Friday afternoon. Gabriella was so kind and helpful! I had such a good experience and I am so grateful for Gabriella!”

“I recently got my 2024 Camaro SS 1LE worked on by Eva and the guys at Modified Motorsports. They wrapped my door handles satin black, installed some C8 taillights from Auto Addict and installed a Borla axle back exhaust. All I can say is WOW! The installation was flawless. The shop and waiting area is super clean and organized! I'm a "car" guy and have been to numerous shops in the Bay Area and throughout CA. Modified Motorsports by far is the most cleanest and organized shop I have seen so far!The owner Eva was very friendly and easy to talk too. It was my first time there and he made me feel welcomed. “We came here to dump our Motorhome and the lady was very nice. The dump site was simple to get to we are 43ft.
You literally sign one form and yes they take copy of your ins to protect their other customers property that are stored at the facility. Cost was $30 which is a little higher but for me convenience made it worth a few more bucks.

“NAPA auto parts stores typically serve professionals and not shade tree mechanics. The people behind the counter are reasonably competent but you had better know what you want before you go in. And remember NAPA is very good at supplying parts for Detroit iron so their stock of anything that didn't come from Detroit is relatively limited.”
