“I was surprised at F&M's 3.5 star Yelp rating. I read some of the one-star reviews. Many seemed petty, others unfair.F&M is a Long Beach institution. Over the decades, my family has relied on F&M for loans, commercial banking services, safe deposit boxes and personal checking account services. When I needed a substantial six-figure emergency loan in a hurry, I turned to F&M and they came through. I still maintain my account with F&M although I now live in Houston, because I still have connections bringing me to California.F&M is conservative and perhaps a bit staid, but it is also the soundest bank I can name. I'm only sorry they don't do the silver bar clean and j*** at their annual employee parties any more.”

“I've been a Nuvision member for 13 years mostly at the Leisure World branch which is limited on their hours and services. Nuvision opened up a new branch near me in Seal Beach (located in nearby Long Beach) that is really great. It's in the back of the Marketplace Shopping Center across PCH near Trader Joe's from the new Second and PCH mall that opened a few years ago. A little hard to find there but plenty of parking. I was greeted by a delightful young woman named SHIELA NADERPOUR, a banker who showed me around the new high tech ATM teller machine they have there. A person comes on a screen from the HQ to greet and serve you for any request you need above and beyond simple deposits and withdrawals. Sheila was very helpful in getting me a new debit card as I had lost my old card . It only took a few minutes. I highly recommend NuVision and if they hire more people like Shiela, they will continue to be the best around. Nuvision is ultra careful of your online transactions with all the fraud going on these days . They may sometimes cry "fraud" too easily on some websites. Maybe too careful at times, but better over cautious than not. I'm grateful at that due diligence. Thank you NuVision for the new branch!”
“We live in the area and, while walking 2nd St, noticed this branch opening about a year ago. It's a new building, very clean and open. The savings and CD rates were very attractive so we gave them a try. We are extremely satisfied with our experiences and have returned to do more business with them. The staff is very friendly, professional, efficient and helpful. Right now the bank seems to want to load up on money and is giving savings rates comparable with online, not brick and mortar institutions so do not wait! My only comment to management would be to engage in some sort of publicity effort to make more folks aware of it.”

“I've been banking with this credit union for many years and even refer a few people here. They have helped me with credit building to personal loan and even car loan. I definitely recommend banking with them. Personnel here are friendly and even have a desk worker on standby to greet and get you situated as soon as you enter. Besides checking or saving, they even have investments opportunities such as IRAs, etc... They love to answer any questions you may have. Just fyi, not all locations offered service.”

The tellers are professional, Janet in Business Development accounts is amazing, and Becky Vasquez stepped up for me last week, and i appreciate her. She stopped everything to help me reset my on line banking account, sounds easy but no so easy. The Bank is upgrading their system and for whatever reason i really needed help. Becky the "Banker" is a true professional.”

“I came to US Bank to refinance my auto loan and thankfully it was a really easy process. The bank manager Hebe was super helpful and knowledgeable and made the process a breeze. I brought my toddler into the branch and she had enough trinkets and toys to keep him occupied during the appointment lol. She created a new account for me, showed me how to use the mobile app and taught me how to register with Zelle to make my car payments easier. ALSO-- she reduced my car note by $70/month and lowered tf out of my interest rate, so I'm definitely happy with that. Would definitely recommend”

“I never in a million years thought I would review a bank branch but my experience with Vanessa today warrants it. I've been with Bank of America for 20 years and was 100% ready to close my account today out of frustration. I had what was seemingly a very simple issue that I couldn't handle on the mobile app, online, or over the phone. They told me I had to come into a branch. I've been to 2 other branches and not even a manager could help me figure this out. Today's appointment was my last attempt and I was certain nobody would be able to help me here. I was ready to be done with BofA. Not only did Vanessa figure out how to help me, she showed me how I could do it on my mobile app which I was told I couldn't do and couldn't figure out how to do (& I'm good with tech!). Not even management at other branches could figure it out and even told me to give them a few days and ignored me! Vanessas kind and knowledgeable help today restored my faith in BofA. She also truly cared about my situation and what I was going through. She's a gem! I appreciate her beyond words! Thank you!!”
“U.S. Bank is awesome. Unlike the thiefs from banks like wells fargo (I had personal and business accounts with them) US bank has really shined through. I've been a loyal customer for well over a decade, and for good reason. Amazing bankers, personalize care (just being a normal citizen) this is the bank you want your money in. Just to be transparent, I always banked at the branch on Woodruff and carson in the Vons. Amazing service. Shootout to Maria! But now my closest branch is this location. No issue with withdrawing some cash, professional and quick service. Not sure about the negative reviews.”
