“It's your classic Lucky, nothing special that I noticed. Had what I wanted, no surprises.
But I passed by multiple other groceries to get to the one with the EV fast charger... charge & shop!”
“It's a great market, produce and meats are superior to most everywhere else.
One thing, they put Sodium Nitrate in their freshly made corn beef. In case you are health conscious, this chemical is BANNED in most European countries because it's known to cause stomach cancer.
I posted this information on NextDoor and they censored it and said I was bullying the store for pointing this out!”

“Need food? Come here. Need a lot of food? You can get that here too. Want to look cool while browsing meat? Oh yes you can do that too.
Edit: It's been two years since I wrote this review and Google asked me to update it the same day they fired 12,000 employees. I can't imagine that's not a coincidence. Nevertheless, Safeway still continues to serve an FDA compliant product at slightly higher than market rate values. If that excites you, then you know what to do.”

“Great deals on meat. Short ribs were 7$ a pound. Has indian curries and ethnic foods section. Liquor and wine also , with high end selections. Produce was also reasonably priced.”
“I don't even know why people are upset about a lot of things here. I for one have 99% no qualms with this place. The service here seems to be very good but it doesn't catch on with the Saratoga location. You should have little to no trouble finding parking here because it's not packed in the evening and sometimes the afternoon. Please avoid this joint during lunch hour because it can get packed. This is a very cozy Safeway where natives are nice to each other and act like family. Now that's what I call service. Food quality is good but not as as catching on with the Saratoga location. I like how there is a cool seating area here. You cannot find it in other locations. Brownie points for the bagels. Delicious!Drawback: Unfortunately when something is on sale, this places runs out faster than other locations. Luckily this doesn't deter me from coming here again because l like this location.”
“Walter was awesome!, he assisted with melon selection. Was patient and kindly opened a riped melon for a taste test. I immediately purchase 2 of that type & a total of 9 ?, for a study :)
