“I love Besties! Great to shop and not worry about anything containing animal ingredients. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. Their sandwiches are the best. The sourdough pizza dough is a must for making your own pizza at home. My toddler loves their pizza dough.”

“This Market an amazing jewel of the community. The husband & wife/owners are always helping small vendors by directly carrying their products &/or by allowing them to do pop-up's outside the market. They carry locally crafted organic chorizo, longaniza, organic blue corn & flour tortillas, salsas & a bunch of other goodies. “I love this market and the incredibly kind owners and staff! On days when I don’t feel up to running to the grocery store I come here. They have a wide array of household items, groceries, and also great beer prices! Truly a neighborhood gem! 🌟”
“Some of the best homemade pickles I’ve ever had. The crunch is superb and that taste is always perfection. Been a long time customer and have even shipped some of their online shelf stable pickles to friends and fellow pickle lovers. My favorites are the spicy garlic spears, low heat but delicious flavor. The jalapeno pickles are my favorite. These are refrigerator pickles so not mushy or sealed in a jar, just fresh crunchy pickles. It’s hard to not drink the brine as well. So good. Some wacky flavors as well, the honey mustard are not tangy like most pickles but if you bring them to a bbq or put them on a burger so chicken salad sandwich you’ll be the hit of the party! Can’t rave enough about this wonderful business.”

“This little market is so convenient and fun to shop at if you live in the neighborhood. They have a variation of food and drinks from different parts of the world. They also have kombucha on tap, a coffee bar and burritos! They are a bit on the pricier side and I knocked them 1 star because the produce seems to be on the brink of going bad most of the time. Their fruit has been fresh and yummy though.”
“Valeria’s Groceries is a chiles and spices vendor in GCM. They sell a wide variety of beans, shrimps, fishes, sauces and dried Mexican spices. Staff was cordial and nice. I got my pinto beans and camarones. And they were glorious. The prices are competitive.

“I have been shopping at this Trader Joe’s for over 5 years, ever since I moved to the Fairfax area, and I have always had a great experience. The quality of the products is always amazing. I especially love the new red velvet cupcakes and the mirepoix because it saves me so much time whenever I make soup. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. Recently I met a young employee named Ana. I’ve seen her bagging groceries, collecting carts, and helping customers every time I’m in the store. A few days ago I asked if she could help me put a case of water in my trunk, and she happily did. On the way outside she asked how my day was, and we ended up talking for a few minutes. I had actually been having a rough day, and our conversation really cheered me up. A few days later I came back to shop again and saw her outside picking up trash. I asked her where I could find something, and to my surprise she remembered who I was. That really made me smile. Ana is such a hardworking young lady, and every time I see her she is always helping someone or staying busy. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate her kindness. Trader Joe’s is lucky to have someone like her.”

Fresh... inexpensive and short lines...i always choose mother's as my go to store when on the run. My preferred location is the Manchester store. Staff are always kind and friendly... “Gosh I want to gatekeep this so badly but I love it too much to keep it to myself. The Beachwood Market is THE vibe. It feels like stepping back in time in the most soul-soothing way. There’s an indescribable effortless chicness radiating from every corner.
The fruits and vegetables are displayed with such perfection you can hardly believe your eyes. The whimsy of the model train set. The vintage architecture. The genuine and competent staff. The charming as heck made-to-order deli counter.
They have all the essentials plus unique and interesting products you suddenly feel compelled to try. I personally love the local pastries and treats displayed at the front of the store with so much love and attention. Also tons of cool, hard to find magazines.
Come for the midcentury canyon vibes and stay bc you won’t want to leave.”
