“I have been dropping items to this office since a long time ago. Thanks to the dedicated, friendly, helpful staffs and front desk people, this office has come from a mediocre place to my favorite USPS location. Thank you again all front people as well as the postmen who safely delivering items to my house over the years.”
“Gotta drop this review after my visit.
Their hours are updated so don’t worry about what others said in their review.
I’ve been here twice and served by different staff member. They are SUPER FRIENDLY compare to so many locations I have been to. Enjoy coming here everytime. There’s generally no wait in the morning.”

“Okay to start I feel like an ass-hat for not leaving a review the first time I used Robert! Shame on me. Anyway... I had such an amazing experience with Robert and his crew the first time he moved us that I reached out again when we were relocating from the Bay Area to Long Beach, just to see if he knew long-distance movers who were good that could get us down there. Well luckily for us, Robert does all kinds of relocations, including long-distance! He promptly scheduled an appointment to come to view our place, he showed up on time and was as polite and professional as always. We received our estimate the same day and again he was upfront about all of the charges and explained how he works on a flat rate - which was good to know considering gas prices and other factors involved in a long-distance move. We didn't want any surprises at the end! The guys showed up on moving day right on time and worked tirelessly to get us moved out quickly. The next day they were ready to go at our new place in Long Beach, bright and early, and got us all settled within a few hours. The payment was super easy as well now that he takes Zelle as a cash! I have moved alot in my lifetime and its always something I've dreaded. Knowing Robert and his team have my back seriously made both moves with them totally... boring. LOL. My biggest complaint is that I don't know what to do with myself because I'm so used to having to babysit or help other movers. Not with these guys! 10/10 recommend.”
“This place has one of the nicest gentleman working as a clerk . Got my package dropped off here and he was very kind to box it up would recommend this place to anybody in the area”
“Tony, What an energetic person he is! Extremely calm, patient, and deeply attentive with customers. I have never experienced this type of outstanding service before—he handles the entire business so smoothly, almost single-handedly. USPS truly needs more people like him to achieve even greater milestones.”
“This is by far my favorite post office. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making every visit a pleasant experience. There are rarely any lines, parking is easy and convenient, and packages are always scanned and trackable the very same day.
I truly wish all post offices were run this well!”
“feels like it’s stuck in the past — think government throwback vibes lol
But the customer service is very much in the present, and clearly aiming to do its best for the future
Overall, an outdated edifice with genuinely good staff.”
“Went there Friday and 6 people ahead of me. Asian worker very organized and he managed to get line down then second worker came. Didn’t wait that long. Staff always nice st this one. Good job!”
“I had a package that was stuck in the locker. Talked to Tao at the post office - she was awesome. She called the person delivering mail on my route, asked them to retrieve the package and deliver it to my home the same day. Awesome experience, wasnt expecting much”
“Art was very helpful and Pleasant to interact with. the entire operation is pretty efficient although they always seem under staffed.
Great people!”
“The lady was very polite and helpful. I have never sent a package before and needed to do this for lawyers. It worked out well. She helped ensure that all the details were correct and she is very courteous.”
“I would have given 5 stars except if not for the rude clerk I encountered the other day, but maybe she was just having a bad day. In the past I have always had an very nice Asian guy who is friendly, fast and very professional. I have never had to wait in line at this location. I do wish they were open more hours.”
“Surprised to see more than 3 people working the counter. They all apologized for the wait which wasn't that bad, considering. Francine who helped me was very friendly and helpful.”
“The post office has been around for 250+ years. Are you all just crawling out of a rock? Stop supporting AI and do some research on how to mail. It takes about 5 seconds just as much time as it would take the clerk to explain.”
“I dropped off an important letter for certified mail and they ended up losing it. However the manager was apologetic and told me that they were truly sorry and they try to hit the 100% percent mark and that they would refund me for it. Which they ended up doing! The service was great and he came out right away and even investigated what happened. The service was quick for sending out a letter! It cost almost $5 for certified mail.”
“I had the best experience with USPS this morning. Ms Jativder (clerk 11) is the most helpful, friendly, and professional clerk that I have ever met at USPS! Thank you for your outstanding service!”
“Clear instructions and great service.
I went for a passport appointment today, at the time I entered the room, the staff gave clear instructions on where is the waiting area. The whole process happened in a private space, it was
fast and efficient, the staff is experienced and caring as well.”
“This post office has been a lifesaver for me since it's open all day on Saturdays—the only time I’m able to go.
So far, every staff member I’ve interacted with has been incredibly kind and professional. Really appreciate their service and extended hours!”
“The supervisor went above and beyond to help locate my package on a Saturday even after the post office was closed turns out I put the wrong unit # on my package. It helps when u have a tracking # thank you to the carrier who went back to the location to get my package I know it was a hot day and you guys work extremely hard.”
“Went to this post office recently to mail a package and was so grateful for the staff member I was helped by (thanks Jessica!). The previous day I tried to make sense of my options using the website but only ended up more confused at the number of options and price points. Thankfully, despite not being sure about which mailing option I wanted to go with, the staff member was kind enough to walk me through the options that made the most sense for my situation. She was super knowledgeable and understanding of my needs/helping me make a final decision. She even recommended I take a picture of everything being mailed so I would have a confirmation of sorts in addition to the tracking number. When I went it was quite busy but the 2 members on staff were efficient allowing for the line to progress quickly and for everyone to get on with the rest of their day.”
“Esmeralda went above and beyond to track down my missing package. She kept me updated throughout the process and ultimately found it. I really appreciate her dedication and excellent customer service.”
“Went on a whim for the FBI fingerprinting service after trying several others in the area without luck, and Alexis/Lam were amazing at getting me in and out. So grateful they were able to help me out in a fired my and expedient matter! They were treating other customers very kindly and with patience despite the intermittent long lines. Thank you!”
“Knowledgeable and efficient staff at San Jose's First Street at St. James Park office!
I was doing a change of address for my recently deceased parents and their recently closed business.
I had all the documents specified on the USPS website. The staff member had both parents individually forwarded, and the company forwarded while leaving the live-in helper's mail going to my parents house until the helper moves out.
Maybe 10 minutes for all three changes. Wow.”
“I was here for the passport. If you did some research you know all locations nearby are taking sign ins at 6am. That's unavoidable for walk-ins. Online booking doesn't work sometimes, so walk-ins is my only option. I have a lot of complaints for that system, but it's not the workers fault in post office. The lady Luna working there is the goat. She told me she changed the rule for staying in post office after sign up for better experiences meanwhile some other locations you need to stay in line for the whole time. I got there at 5am, only 1 gentleman in front of me. And by the time 6am hit, only 9 in line and we take 15 applicants here. I went home after signing in, came back at 8:45am. Two dozen people showed up, and she tried to make sure everyone can get their paperwork in despite going above the required limit. Truly the GOAT. Overall she's super nice and quick. It could be because I'm the first customer there. But I can tell she handled everything professionally. If you are preparing your passport documents for the first time, get your stuff ready. Make copies for your supporting documents. When you get everything ready, it's super smooth. 1 star for the system, 5 star for her”
“I've only had positive experiences with this USPS location, going back 8+ years. In particular, Jose is friendly and professional, and always goes out of his way to help me answer questions about different packages/services.
Today, while I was searching for a pen, another customer advised me to ask Jose for help if needed. The realization that so many neighbors have had great experiences here inspired me to leave a review.”
