I was so grateful to meet the one and only Miller himself and let me tell you, that young man is very smart and truly enjoys the relationships he has and excited to create more. The entire staff makes everyone feel like family and their product knowledge is above and beyond other big chain places. Their prices were the same, if not better, than other big corp places so between the family feel, great prices, and pro level instruction from experienced staff I’m actually looking forward to my next project like the dreaded annual sprinkler repairs before spring, I’m not dreading it anymore with Miller’s Ace as my place.”
“Green acres is always a great time. I love their huge selection of plants and their staff is usually quite knowledgeable about how to care for the plants. Their pricing for pots can be quite expensive but their pricing for plants I think is fair. They even have ads that portray cool group planting ideas for plants so that you can mimic professional landscape decor.”
“I made a large purchase at Emigh Hardware, requiring delivery. Once the delivery was dropped off, I recognized an issue, no fault of mine or Emigh. I called to report my issue & how we might resolve it with the dept. manager. The owner of the store, Brian, came to my home to do an assessment and was able to resolve the problem that same day. Thank you Brian & your crew for going beyond the call of duty!! You are all highly appreciated!!”
“So this store is really good, and may just be one of the primary reasons why I always have a little less $$ in my bank account but it is the people that work here that I want to highlight. These guys are wood workers and craftsmen. It’s like they love woodworking so much that they decided to work there (the thought has crossed my mind ?). I really appreciate the enthusiasm and knowledge these guys have. I can explain what I’m trying to do or what I’m stuck in and they have expertise to come up with alternative ideas. Just terrific folks. I have also introduced a few of my fiends to Rockler’s classes. My friends were complete novices but really enjoyed the two “make and take” classes we all attended. One was a cutting board class and the other was a pen turning class. If you have not checked out there classes, I highly suggest you do. If you have not visited this Rockler, I suggest you do! My only complaint is how much money I spend here ?, so be careful when you come… they have a terrific inventory of some pretty terrific things. I am very thankful to have this store so close. And to the staff, keep up the good work all!

“Only place in town that has light bulbs for my lava lamp so I don't go very often. But every single time that I do, the staff are always helpful and easy to find. They immediately help me locate whatever I'm looking for and the place has a really nice atmosphere.”
“I LOVE this hardware store in my neighborhood! Whenever I walk into the store, I am always greeted by someone and asked what I am looking for. Unless I know exactly where I am going, an employee always leads me to the correct items. There are few places I have every been to that has customer service like this Ace Hardware! They treat you with the same high level of customer service whether you are buying yards of sprinkler pipe, a new power tool or a single screw. Sometimes the cost of items is a bit more than the big box hardware stores, but my time is worth it! I never have to wait around to get help.”

“I go to the store all the time because it's close and I always get really good service. If something I'm looking for isn't on the shelf staff will go in the back and look for it and see if they have it in their warehouse. I have to say they have good customer service and I'm in and out of there fast.”

As a GC I rarely buy anything tool at HD with mia stock, returned, damaged, bad inventory, and understaffed miserable help.
On 2nd thought they get a 5!”
“Nice store, attentive employees and good selection. Sadly the Democrats in CA have made consumer prices out of line with to many regulations on businesses, costs for minimum wages are way to high and CA government is no friendly with companies. It makes the consumer shopping experience poor and goods are simply unaffordable for DIY work any longer.”

“A nice neighborhood hardware store with a basic selection but not overwhelming like a big box store. Attentative staff but the cashiers were kinda awkward/odd. After he rang me up he just left the items on the counter and didn't offer to bag them. I had to reach across the counter onto his side to get my stuff. Generational thing? Maybe...”

The equipment was in perfect condition, worked absolutely fine.
The service was great.
My first time at this particular yard, but I've had this same experience with rental guys at every one of their facilities.

“I love this place! The guys are fantastic! I am opening a business and was having a real hard time finding just the right color, I was in there about every day grabbing new samples. I was consistently treated with respect and they were always helpful. Ultimately I created my own unique color and they let me name it! Safe to say I will definitely use them again!”

“These guys are great! They may not be the cheapest, but their prices are fair. What I like is that they carry a lot of unusual hardware. Like ball-joint rod-ends, or copper Pop-rivets. Torx-head machine screws too. Their tools are on the pricey side, but no worse than anyone else who sells similar quality. The best part is when I need it today, they almost always have it! The guys are really helpful too.”
“I just come here to get CO2 for my aquarium and appreciate the quickness at which this gets done. You bring an empty 5 LB tank, pay, and then it's swapped for a full one. Done in probably 4-5 minutes.
As of 8/29/2025, it comes out to $29 after taxes and fees.”
