“One of the cleanest gas stations i have ever been in, Also conveniently located right of the maple Street and highway 80 freeway exit, easy on and off freeway, especially convenient public town of old Auburn restrooms ? that are cleaned daily! Makes driving to Tahoe better! Also alot of cool shops near by, Note everyone who works at this Valero is Extremely nice and helpful, this is our go to gas station!

“Cause they have my type of smokes when 76 runs out. It's convenient but if there is a big line of car it's not big enough. When they put gas in there with the big truck it's kinda hard to pick that station.”

“Had to post a review just for the novelty of paying $7.29 a gallon in May 2026. Gas station itself was great and the guy at the counter was cool but California gas prices get zero stars.”
“Stop for gas as it was on our side of the street. Gas was lowest CASH price at this intersection. Can accommodate 4 cars for gas. Being a weekend it was VERY busy. Little chaotic, but not dangerous. Hubs said you have to peek in the store. First thing I noticed they had a restroom. Got the key easily. Clean bathroom. The mini mart is amazingly packed with all the things a road trip or quick stop on one's way home needs. All the fancy drinks. Lots of alcohol choices. Snacks! Large frisbee assortment. What?! Is there frisbee golf near by?”

“My visit here was nice and easy no issues , the location is small but convenient which is great plus they have plenty of great items to select if your needing a little something to hold you over.. also a large selection of liquor and a few different grab an goes if that's what you need.Overall convenient location but store is very cluttered like when someone says "10pnds in a 5pnd bucket". Not sure if this is the norm for these but if there was brighter lights and less clutter down the aisles and checkout counter it would be perfect.Thank you!”

“Busy gas station with fair prices on gas. The convenience store has always been clean with a decent selection of food and drinks. TIP: The 2 for $6 sausage and egg breakfast sandwich is a good deal and the sandwiches were pretty tasty. This is generally where I stop when I am passing through from Grass Valley to Sacramento.”

“I love this little hole in the wall gas station. It's usually not busy, easy in and out. I went yesterday and everything is brand new and in excellent condition. The food mart has all the things you might need on the go and then some! Clean facilities. Nice and friendly customer service. My favorite gas station in Auburn. Highly recommended.”

“Grateful they have 100% renewable diesel. Wish they had biodiesel but that's becoming nearly virtually impossible to find. Only place around with renewable diesel. Also I recommend you get the app. Saves us $0.30/gal off of the posted price for renewable diesel.”

“This place is run by such great folks. Had a blow out on the side of the highway needed a tool to get us back on the road. Stopped by this Shell to see if they had a tool section. They did not have what we needed to buy. But, the owner let us borrow a wrench no questions asked. We go all patched up, brought back the tool and got a nice greeting for them and glad they were able to help. Not alot of people take care of strangers these days. Thanks so much.”
