“Amazing experience renting a gravel bike. Top notch gear, super friendly, and gave great advice where to go and have a great time! Don't even think going anywhere else”
“Brian was super kind and was instantly able to figure out what was wrong with my fit and make all the right adjustments to make things better! Would 100% recommend coming here!”
“Thank you for helping me with finding the right bike for me. All the workers of the San Francisco stores in 2 locations were very helpful and knowledgable. I always felt welcomed to the store and during the test-rides (even in not ideal weather conditions). Thanks to all the crew.”
“I stopped by for the first time to talk with the service team about my bike. It had been about a year since the last service, and I wanted to figure out when I should schedule the next one.
The staff took about 10 minutes to carefully look over the bike, checked several components, and even measured the remaining life on the brake pads and chain. They gave me honest feedback that I still have about 2–3 months before service is really needed.
What impressed me most was that they took the time to do a thoughtful assessment and didn’t charge a dime. That kind of honesty and customer care is rare these days.
If you’re looking for a place to buy a lifetime bike and get top-notch service, I highly recommend this shop.”
“Best bike shop in Marin! I’ve been getting all my bikes serviced there for over a year now, and contrary to my previous shop in downtown San Rafael (MB) the work is always done correctly for a very fair price. On top of that, the staff is super friendly, and they sell beer—what more can you ask for??”
“I’ve had my bike serviced twice at the Larkspur New Wheel and the service was fantastic. The technicians obviously care a lot about the quality of their work. I will keep bringing my Gazelle there for service.”
“Fantastic people, bikes and service at Trek Corte Madera. The sales team is exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced, and the service team is best in class and excellent problem solvers - the whole team (Steve, Raphael, Jackson, Dwayne and Kenny) always go above and beyond to be professional and deliver the best product and experience to the customer. Well done, Trek Corte Madera, keep up the great work!”
“Max was awesome! Great local bike shop with nice guys who know what they’re doing and chill vibes. I went in with my tire leaking sealant everywhere and they didn’t make a fuss about the sealant dripping everywhere ?. Max made it look easy to seat my particularly tricky tire onto the wheel. Great experience and will definitely be coming back for other bike service needs.”
“A very cool bike shop slightly tucked away from the road, well worth a visit. Thanks Miguel, you were really helpful and patient, and sorted us out with helmets.”
“I’m new to cycling and swung by Sunshine Bikes today to get some guidance on my new bike. They were incredibly helpful and patient with my questions, never once making me feel dumb for asking them. I’d recommend them for any bike needs you may have.”
“I've been to this place twice now. Each time they have been quick, courteous, professional, and did the job right. They are now my preferred bike repair shop in the city. My only wish is that they would extend their hours.”
“I had my bike shipped here and reassembled. Everything was great - great service, great communication, and great price. I'll be taking my bike here for servicing. Highly recommended!”
“I am always impressed by how kind they are at this shop. Twice now they have saved me money by taking the time to really look at my bike and fix the problem right there rather than let me go ahead and pay extra for parts and assembly that I ended up not needing.”
“Best customer service and very professional! They helped us put our bike in a box for a flight to Germany. Would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting to bring their bike with them on vacation. Great selection of tools and practical advice from the entire team”
“I had already purchased a bike and wanted to find out what small adjustments I needed to make. I was with John for over 2 hours as he measured and watched how I rode on the trainer. He looked at all aspects including my cleats and shoes. His input was fantastic. What's even more impressive, is that I can email questions and he still will respond and work with me. I highly recommend them.”
“Rob is hands down the best in the biz! I don't think I've met someone that cares about his customers this much. I brought my bike in for a tune up and he fixed several other issues I didn't even know I had AND included them with my basic tune up!!!”
“Physical storefront is now closed; the store only accepts online orders and does not have open hours on Eddy.
Great pieces for great prices— wish they still had a storefront, but I’m grateful there’s still people passionate about track biking in sf. Highly recommend.”
“I interacted with both the bike mechanic and the shop owner, and they provided top-notch customer service. They were honest and upfront about both current needs and future considerations. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.”
“Jonas and Brian are the best! Very chill guys. It made the browsing and buying experience stress-free. They encouraged us to take time and try all the different models before making the decision, which made us confident that we went to the right place to get a new bike! Best Brompton bike dealer! Go to them for all your Brompton and bike needs :) The other people in the shop are always nice as well. We’ll be coming back!”
“I had the pleasure of visiting Caesar's Cyclery yesterday where I got top quality service from Caesar Sr. I ended up purchasing a vintage 1970s Schwinn suburban after test riding 3 other commuter bikes of various ages and makes - I'm in love with my choice. With the bike that I chose being older, Caesar Sr. took the time to check the breaks and gears before making the purchase and riding out. He also hooked me up with a used helmet and took the time to adjust the fit for comfort and safety. I was happy to support his local family ran shop! Highly recommend.”
“Sickest bikes and shop I’ve ever seen. Super friendly service- not that apssive aggresiveness youre used to at every SF shop. Vibes are immaculate, cutest dogs and they got me back riding in 3 minutes all for free. 10/10 will be back”

“Great local bike shop! Straight forward service, sells parts as well as full tune-ups, and he’s happy to fix any small problems he finds, even if they’re not part of the scope of the tune-up that he’s asked to perform. He straightened out the fork of my bike when I didn’t even realize it was slightly bent!”
“Handle bars out of sync. Stopped in on busy day and they fixed quickly with a smile and no charge. Great customer service should be celebrated. Happy to spend my money with you and recommend you.”
“There isn't a superlative in my lexicon that can adequately describe how incredible my experience with Warm Planet Bikes has been.
I first reached out to Warm Planet Bikes back in December after realizing my wife and I had a bit of buyer’s remorse on our practically brand-new Tern GSD R14 — it had only 11 miles on the odometer. We decided we really wanted a front-loaded cargo bike instead. Even though Warm Planet doesn’t take trade-ins, Kash (the owner) went above and beyond, offering guidance on how to sell the GSD privately and even performing a full tune-up and diagnostic checklist for my buyer. That level of support, especially when there was no immediate sale in it for him, speaks volumes.
Then I became the most indecisive, high-maintenance customer imaginable.
From December through February, I changed my mind more times than I care to admit. I started out set on a standard Larry vs Harry eBullitt, but then realized our 60-lb Golden Retriever might not be able to comfortably lie down in the front box. That sent me down the rabbit hole. I bounced back and forth between the Yuba Supercargo, the eBullitt X, and the Urban Arrow Family Cargo. At one point I literally laid masking tape on my living room floor to map out the various bucket dimensions to see which one would best fit our dog.
Through all of it, Kash was patient, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful. Not once did he pressure me. Not once did he seem annoyed. He just kept offering insight, answering questions, and helping me think through what would truly work best for our family.
Kash is truly a diamond in the rough. His kindness and integrity are rare. And Ted, his mechanic, deserves major credit as well. Ted made sure the GSD was in A+ shape for its new owner, and the eBullitt X I finally took home was pristinely assembled. The shifting was buttery smooth, everything dialed, everything perfect. It rode exactly the way a dream cargo bike should.
If you want a shop that treats you like a human being instead of a transaction, Warm Planet Bikes is it. I can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“I stopped in the have the light fixed on my ebike. They were not able to fix it because they are not authorized dealers of Izip. But the nice man reconnected my light and fixed it so I can ride it. No charge!”
“Had a mechanical mid ride and popped in. Johnny was super thorough, accommodating, and wonderful to work with. There was a queue of bikes, but they graciously fit me in and got me rolling again quickly. I was able to catch up to my group and enjoy my day - all thanks to some quality folks focused on making customers happy! Bike is also rolling extra smoothly now.”
“Ari is great. He fixed a clicking bottom bracket at the last minute, and he did my bike fitting, using his physical training background and technology (electrodes and sensors) to analyze my cycling and make adjustments to support my natural position. I’ve done four 75+-mile rides since and felt more comfortable than before. He also taught me stretching techniques because he could tell I was tight on my right side and that was causing unevenness on my saddle position and pedaling motion. He listened to my concerns and explained things clearly.”
“We showed up with no appointment, and they got us out the door with rentals within an hour. Loaned me a phone mount and were quick and helpful all the way through. We rode 20 miles and then I had a mechanical issue derailleur hangar snapped) after crossing the golden gate bridge. The manager came out personally and replaced my bike on the spot!”
“Xtracycle in Mill Valley has some of the most friendly, accommodating staff i have ever experienced. I called in to book a test ride with them for some Priority Bicycles as they are the defacto Bay Area Adventure Center for Priority. Joe was who answered and he is literally the best. He got me all set up with my appointment and gave such an informative and transparent explanation to all my questions on the bikes. Nick set us up with the test ride bikes and was so friendly and helpful. He was willing to pull some bikes back down for us to retest sizing, etc. My dad and I ordered bikes that day and we set up our pick up and installation there in Mill Valley. Granted, we traveled 2 hours to go to this store. So that should be a testament to how awesome this staff is! Picking up the bikes was a breeze and they even accommodated me and added my ask for a tubeless conversion. They even installed the rear bike rack I ordered free of charge.
Overall, we had an amazing time working with the team at Xtracycle. Thank you so much to Joe especially for answering all our calls, questions, and concerns. If you ever want to test out a Priority Bicycle or one of Xtracycle's awesome cargo bikes, this is definitely the best place to go in the bay!”
