“I rented an RV for my family and had a great experience. Luis was very courteous and patient with my many questions. Everything was explained clearly and precisely. The vehicle was very clean and orderly. It handled well with plenty of acceleration and solid brakes. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and lots of space for storage. “We rented out a 3ft deep Ditch Witch for ground squirrel fencing and worked closely with Charlie. All the service over the phone and in person was great. We had to troubleshoot multiple times with extending the reservation due to getting sick and also with my truck not being large enough for transport. Throughout the entire time, Charlie was very supportive and understanding. He made the rental of machine really smooth and stress free.”
“8/2023-Mostly a positive experience with checkout except their truck photos didn't show a big paint chips on the hood which I disputed before checking out. Checking in was mostly positive except the cashier was unknowledgeable about how charges would be badge if different from the original estimate.3/2020-I was so reluctant to use these guys after reading all the horrible reviews but I didn't have any other choices for an in-city move small pickup truck. Booked online the night before and price was reasonable. Moving day and visited store and declined the extra liability coverage ($10). Their online check-in and acceptance procedure was fairly painless. Although the photos they presented was the truck very clean and washed but when I got it the interior and exterior were a bit dirty but not a huge deal. I still took my own photos just in case. About 15 min and was out the door. $20 + $0.79/mile. 2 hours later and returned with gas replaced. A few extras miles was accrued and charged. I think I was very lucky compared to all the previous reviews.”

I used the 24/7 truck/ share option offered on u-hauls website. The process was simple and easy to navigate and i was in and out in a matter of minutes with a clean well maintained vehicle.
I'm glad I decided to pick up my rental truck at this easy to find Location.

“I was so grateful to learn I would'nt have to trek to the east bay to get a rental! Make your reservations online conveniently. I was also able to extend my rental online very easily. I had a fabulous experience checking in and the vehicle was ready to go, thoroughly cleaned and a full tank of gas - completely set up for my use. The gentleman that checked me in was thorough, friendly, and made sure I was satisfied with the vehicle and service provided. Honestly, this was the easiest and absolute best experience I have ever had renting a car. Super relieved and will definitely use again. I will definitely recommend this Budget Car Rental and utilize them again - hands down! Thank you!
**The office is located in the back of the building. Take a right into the driveway (right where the Budget & Avis signs are located on the side of the building) go down the short hill to the back and the office is the first one on the left. You will see the rental cars and trucks in the parking spaces, so you know you're in the right space.”

“Cory Taylor, Budget Truck Rental Specialist, provided one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Another location was unable to provide us with the vehicle we had reserved, and Cory immediately was able to help us when we called Foster City location to see if they had the van. There seemed to be an issue with transferring our reservation and Cory was relentless in helping us work it out. This is one of the only locations of a truck rental that I would ever recommend.”

“We were staying in Foster city for a week. Found budget to be our nearest rental company. Rented a normal car but was then offered to upgrade for a very competitive price. So we upgraded to a mustang so we could live the American dream whilst on holiday. The company did not disappoint and the service was excellent from start to finish. Steven who dealt with us was amazing and took time time to ask how our holiday was going and where we were thinking of visiting with the car. He explained the toll system and general driving in the US.
We would definitely use this company again if we find ourselves in Foster city again.”

“First timers renting Rv and it was awesome. The San Mateo location is very friendly (they don't try to nickel and dime you) and the Rv was clean and ran very well. We rented the standard size and it was not that hard to drive. Having own bathroom and shower is so relaxing and eliminates worry of finding hotel or restroom. The refrigerator kept our food/ice cream/ drinks cold whole time and hardly used much propane. We dumped our black and gray tanks in the rwc Rv park for $25 and then filled up gas before returning the Rv. Will do it again soon as the Rv experience is a lot of fun. The radio now has Bluetooth so you can play music from your iphone easy while it charges on the drive - nice.”

“Was pleasantly surprised. Made a reservation for a cargo van over a month in advance (reservation was for a mid-month rental) and while I was concerned due to the poor reviews and possibility of getting “upgraded“ to a bigger vehicle with lower gas mileage for a cross country on-way rental, I was relieved when I arrived to see that they had dozens of cargo vans available. I arrived a half hour before they officially opened but the gate was open and after waiting for 15 minutes the manager noticed me and asked if he could help. After finding out that I was making a cross country trip he gave me a new cargo van that had very low mileage. Had to wait a few more minutes for them to fill the tank up, but otherwise no issue.”
