“I went to AA Kitchen Appliance on a Friday afternoon, and spoke with Jason for nearly 45 minutes. I had a washer and dryer in mind, but wanted his opinions on brands and features. He gave me good advice on what features are worth the money and what are not. He looked up the prices for the models I was looking at, and while they were on sale at big box stores, he was not able to get the appliances for those prices. He recommended I order the appliances through one of the big box stores, since the prices were good. He took my contact information, and the next morning, he emailed me and told me he contacted another appliance company on the peninsula and that company was able to offer the appliances to me for the same price as the big box stores. He made the introduction, and I ordered the appliances through that other company. I was impressed that Jason introduced me to another company to buy the appliances, rather than try to keep the sale for himself.”

“We came in looking at ovens to replace our broken double oven that had been serviced multiple times without repair. Thankfully Renee was there to help us! She asked what was wrong with our current oven and who we had diagnosing the problem. Immediately she got on the phone and gave us 3 names to try 1 last time to get it fixed. She said if this doesn't work then come back and we can look at a new oven. Her recommendation fixed our oven! It's hard to find a genuine sales person looking out for your best interest and we were so lucky to find Renee.”

Then he serviced my Babylock sewing machine, gave me invaluable advice on threads and helped me with free motion quilting. Sherri got me up to speed on my sewing machine and all its ins and outs. They re my go to people.”

“Recently had a situation where our appliance took a while to arrive due to Covid backlogs... and when we got the unit it didn't function properly (definitely not Al's fault, at all). Was exceptionally happy and impressed as Al and his team got me a replacement unit of a different, acceptable brand quickly and in time for the upcoming holidays. “I purchased a new industrial coverstitch here recently. They were super helpful with helping me choose the machine, attachments, etc. They responded to emails straightaway. When I picked up the machine they had it assembled and tested, and spent a good amount of time showing me how to use it. They even helped load it into my truck. 100% would purchase from them again. Plus, the store has a ton of haberdashery supplies.”

“I had gone to two appliance showrooms without success and then decided to try CG where I was pleasantly surprised about the number of appliances they had in the store and the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff. I had Jeff Stern as my salesperson and he knew a lot about the different brands, their reliability, their availability, and their issues. For instance, he insisted that I measure every choke point from the front door to the kitchen and send him a video of the path the fridge would take from the street to the kitchen so he could be sure that the installation could take place without any problems. I had been confident there would be no problems since I had other appliances brought in without problems but he was right. He said the GE bottom freezer refrigerator I wanted was deeper than other refrigerators and would require 30 5/8" and when I measured everything like he recommended, my doorway from the DR to the kitchen was only 30". I ended up having to have my contractor and carpenter remove the above fridge cabinet to cut off 2" to give us the additional 1/2" (plus a margin for future replacements) we needed and remove the trim and enlarge the doorway to 31 or 32" for future appliance replacements. After giving him the space limitations and my preferences (bottom freezer) he worked hard to make me happy with other smaller alternatives (top freezer, different brands) but I decided to bite the bullet and do the renovations to enable me to get the GE model I really wanted. He was able to check on the availability (10 already delivered from the factory to S California and by the time I bought it down to 6) so the delivery time to my house would be 10 working days to get it up to SF. The installation by Tito and his partner was superb. They carried the fridge up so they wouldn't chip my brick stairs. Installed it without damaging the fridge in any way, made sure the water line was installed without any leaks, set the temperatures, leveled the fridge to my satisfaction so the door would close on it's own when we shut it, and told me what to expect in terms of reaching the proper temperatures (24 hours) and how to use the turbo cool feature. They removed the old fridge and all packing materials completely, leaving the house spotless and with no scratches on the floor or other damage. Really happy with the entire process from investigating the fridge options, buying it (Jeff matched Costco's price), the delivery time and the competent and on time installation. I appreciate working with a local store where I can contact human beings who know what they are doing should any problems arise. Better than big box stores in my opinion with constantly rotating sales people and CG can price match. I felt the additional costs for installation, old fridge removal worth it to have such personalized service.1/31/2024 update: I am even more pleased with Jeff and CG appliances. I ended up have major problems with the warranty service on the newly purchased GE refrigerator -going through three different service vendors, multiple failed attempts at getting the correct part, etc. Jeff assisted me throughout the entire ordeal and I am really gratified how Jeff took ownership of the problem, stood by his sale and helped me resolve the whole issue. I will definitely be using CG in the future for all my appliance needs.”

“After dealing with a flood in a two unit building my family and I were faced with a forced renovation of two kitchens. After visiting several showrooms in the Bay Area, we decided to have Sincere Home Décor at the South San Francisco location design both kitchen cabinet layouts. We worked with Senior Designer and Sales Associate, Allison Li and we were extremely pleased by her friendly demeanor, quick response, and expertise in helping us put our two kitchens back together. Below is the incredible service we received from Allison: a. She walked us through each step of the process and really put us at ease during a very stressful renovation. b. My contractor was not familiar with the installation of the cove crown molding and cabinet base molding. Allison took the time to send photographs and included instructions on the installation. c. She has incredible attention to detail. For example, our refrigerator placement was next to a wall. Allison made sure there was enough space/clearance for the refrigerator doors to open at full width for the interior refrigerator drawers to fully pull out without the doors being in the way. d. She explained how to adjust the drawers and provided photographs. The visuals helped tremendously. e. She helped me when I had some issues with my cabinetry and worked with me through the process until it was resolved with the manufacturer. For example, my spice rack was not closing correctly. Allison worked quickly to contact the company and they sent the replacement parts to fix it. She also had her managers assist with adjusting the drawer itself when I brought it into the showroom. f. Her manager, Phil, assisted with providing documentation requested by the insurance company. When it came time to purchase our quartz countertops and hood vent, my family and I did not hesitate to purchase them from Sincere Home Décor. We received the same quality of customer service. Selecting the countertops was easily done at their Oakland warehouse and the installation by Ken was great. There were also plenty of hood vent options to select from and a simple process to order. My family and I are grateful for the excellent customer service that Allison and the entire staff at Sincere Home Décor provided to us. We highly recommend them if you are doing a kitchen remodel.”

“The fan belt on our dryer broke. We fixed it once a few years ago using online videos. I remember it was more difficult than viewed now on the YouTube videos. We had the difficult choice of cleaning up the garage to make a path to move in a new dryer or try to fix it again. One of the parts (pulley) did not look like what was in the videos. As soon as I opened my hand the clerk told me that Whirlpool replaced that part with another with a wheel. He was helpful and polite. It was much appreciated. He told me likely causes of the belt snapping. I was surprised that the price for the two parts with tax $32 were no more than what I saw online, in fact less than at some. We will return for other things we need in the future.”

“My 10-year old Bosch dishwasher started beeping. Bob attended. Charged $190. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty flow meter. He said that the work to replace the flow meter would be quite costly, and might just reveal another fault. He recommended that we replace the machine. However, we decided to buy a replacement flow meter, which cost just less than $40. After two hours of our own labour, our machine is working fine. Still, we appreciate the correct diagnosis.”

The store representative gave me great descriptions and suggestions based on my use cases, and pointed out one particular new model was last day on sale. “Purchased the ILG8SF12V-ST - iLIVING 12" Shutter Exhaust Fan with Thermospeed controller.I am IMPRESSED at how efficiently this unit works. Installation was easy and everything worked as described. What really impresses me is at the low fan speed how efficient this unit moves air. Standing inside the shed with fan on low and doors closed, after about a minute I could feel significant airflow moving towards the fan. The next day the temps were in the 90’s and humid…opened the shed doors around 2pm and was astounded at how nice the temps were versus the outside. I did widen the vent on the opposite end of the shed (10'x12') to its maximum size. Highly recommend this appliance…works BETTER than advertised.”

He resolved my shower room problem perfectly yesterday . “One if the few times I've used their tool rental service. Very efficient staff, Ching was working the desk with another gentleman. I had a choice of clearing a drain myself, I needed a electric snake, or calling a plumber. The choice was clear after calling a few plumbers, when they required a diagnostic fee before proceeding, I already knew the issue, a clogged or obstructed sewer drain. By the time a plumber was called, I had already went to home depot, rented the snake and probably cleared the obstruction in the waste pipe. The choice was clear so I didn't bother to contract with any plumber.If you are in need of tools, home depot may be your source providing you have the ability to use them and the knowledge, but really it may take a little longer but the results are the same.I would use home depot again if it arises that I don't have the tools to complete a job”
