U-Haul Moving & Storage at Candlestick offers a wide range of moving solutions, including truck rentals, trailers, cargo vans, pickup trucks, and self-storage. They also provide portable U-Box containers, Moving Help® providers, hitch installations, moving and shipping boxes, and propane. The reviews suggest that the staff at this location are generally helpful and patient, even during busy periods. One customer commended the driver, Mareta, for going above and beyond in assisting with the return of a borrowed dolly. Another customer appreciated the flexibility of being able to return the truck after hours, without having to rush. A third customer noted that the workers were very patient and helpful, despite the location being busy on a weekend. However, some customers have experienced issues with the reservation system, such as a truck not being available at the location it was reserved for. One customer also encountered a significant, but erroneous, charge on their credit card after the rental, which was eventually resolved. Another customer expressed concerns about "scare tactics" employed by the company, particularly regarding the availability of trucks for Burning Man. Overall, the reviews indicate that U-Haul Moving & Storage at Candlestick provides a range of useful services, with generally helpful and patient staff, but there may be occasional issues with the reservation system and billing that customers should be aware of.
Overall great experience. Especially with the people in the yard helping me with the hookup. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Will for sure come back again.
