“This is my favorite toy and book store. I have been a customer since they opened. They always have a wonderful selection of books for all ages. Staff who can make excellent recommendations. My grandchildren absolutely love to go there, as my children did when they were young. Best place to buy a birthday gift, they’ll wrap it for you and give you a lucky penny.”

“This was an adorable claw machine arcade! There were a lot of cute plushies available to win, and each play was only $1. The coin machine they have is cash only for now, but you can pay by card with the cashier up front. They do have a deal where you get extra credits and a music box if you pay $50, so if you plan on spending a lot here that might be worth it. Make sure to check in (and write a review!) for 2-3 extra credits as well!This place, in my opinion, is a LOT more worth it than Round One - the games were actually winnable and cheaper per play. My boyfriend (who says he isnt good at claw machine games) ended up winning 9 plushies!!Would definitely come back!”

“Cute small shop has a huge inventory of lots of Sanrio products. Pricing is of course "not cheap" (trademark, genuine products), if your a fan you won't leave without a lil something red or pink! Gorgeous handbags, backpacks, pillows, charms, hair assesories, keychains... on & on. Just luv My Melody & My Little Twin Stars! Staff/owners are so darling, helpful, personable & gracious as you enter and exit the shop. Meter Parking in the area is a challenge so if you plan to visit make time and enjoy the walk along all the shopping strip. Food, frozen yogurt, adjacent mall. There's a lot in the area.”

“For my review #420, I'd like it to land here at 'Lakeshore Learning Store,' Pasadena, CA. I frequented this branch was because I used to work in Arcadia, CA. during the 1st year of the Pandemic. I've stocked up my own Felt story sets here, but then later I found out some of the 'Felt Board' story pieces turn out cheaper from Amazon. Still I would need to stock up from here. Since I always work with extremely young kids, I've needed quite a bit of materials, Lakeshore Learning Store never disappoints if you need something in a hurry and can't wait for Amazon that is. My earlier visit today on Friday, Dec/9/22 was a fabulous experience yet again~I was provided individual service and care since I was shopping the poster section for my upcoming classroom. I must have stocked up 1/2 dozen of posters and a sales lady walked over to check on me. She even helped me Laminate my classroom's posters! All I need to do is cutting them individually. I've bought my Circle Time Calendar here as well. Of course, I stocked up on another 1/2 dozen of ECE books but already got a ton at home. Will most likely return here again for another trip of classroom supplies next week. Upcoming new job from Arcadia, CA. again will allow us teachers a budget reimbursing us, but I make sure I don't overspend. The books will be mine to stay with me though then I'll just bring to work by the week.”

“So this store has a great selection of anime figures. The down side is that they are rather pricey. Although they are pricey it's not as bad as other stores I've gone too were figures are $50+ their normal price. The staff there is friendly. They have alot of cute plushies aswell. If for some reason you can't find a specific figure in hot topic, box lunch or any other authorized anime merch retailer then this place is definitely worth checking out. Yes it's pricey but not as bad as other places.”

“This location is pretty sad. They only have one employee working and don't have much balloon supplies. A mask is required to shop everywhere now. Especially when I walked in, the employee reminded me here. The downside is waiting in line for longer than usually. But the employee was very nice!”

I ordered one and it arrived dented in shipping. I reached out to them and they responded quickly and is sending me a new one. Sending pictures of the damage is quite helpful. “Small shop with tons of cute Sanrio merch. Stock looks to be a tad bit unorganized, but plentiful. In my opinion, this makes shopping here fun - you don’t really know what you’ll find.They have plenty of blind boxes, but the cool thing about this place is that they have an “open blind box policy” (as said by one of the employees), where you can open the blind box to see what you get before you buy it. Their blind box stock is plentiful, so if you don’t mind not being surprised, this place is good for that.An older woman employee here was very helpful and friendly. I forgot to get her name, but she was very knowledgeable about what they had in stock. I also overheard using a phone number for rewards points here, so that might be something to look into. Overall, very cute store for a gift!”

“My favorite go-to card shop closed so I went around looking for a new place and stumbled upon Game Corner. A small and quaint mom and pop card and hobby store. Store is pretty small, only a few tables and has limited stock. Parking is limited in a shared plaza. Store owner is very friendly and his kids come to hang out there as well. I wouldn't expect any big tournaments or anything here, but its a nice place to go, check out, maybe regular visits to play or something. I'm pretty sure they do DND here as well.”

“I was looking for thick non-toxic exercise mats. I did a lot of research and found eWonderWorld. I called their customer service to ask specific questions about the materials used to be sure they wouldn't off-gas VOC's, which would create huge health issues. They answered all of my questions satisfactorily AND helped me figure out the best combination and color to meet my needs. I couldn't be happier with the service and the mats. The mats are excellent for Chemically Sensitive individuals.”

“I've ordered from this location several times and decided to pay a visit as I was passing through California. I'm so glad I did. I was able to purchase a Hangyodon plush in person. This store has every character in stock with the exception of Usahana. She seems to sell out quickly. They are an officially licensed Sanrio store so you know you will also be purchasing items from Japan as well. This is one of the few Sanrio stores that is super organized and very easy to shop. Glad we made the visit.”
