“We ordered drive up and go at this store and the cutest and most attentive worker named Rudie gave us our groceries and chatted briefly with us. Quick and efficient, and thoroughly adorable, 10/10 would return if he bagged our groceries again”

“Charming and well equipped boutique, small town, gourmet grocery, prepared foods, coffee bar, pastry, deli and bakery source with adjacent outdoor eating patio complete with fountain. Easy parking and access from main roads. Located in central strip mall with more boutique retail for after meal stroll. We made time for sandwiches (fabulous but spendy) but lamented not being able to bring more prepared goods with us on the long drive home. (Everything looked wonderful and locals swarmed.) Recommend a pop-in.”

“A good mix of local and regional, including Mexico, nuts, veggies including Sunchokes for example, and fun cheeses along with related baked veggie products. All in a former gas station where the south-facing outer stall has table seating to chill out or picnic alongside a flower-shop's cart while augmenting your nearby restaurant/cafe takeouts.”

“MiFiesta is the go-to spot in Carpinteria for delicious, authentic Mexican food at a great price. Their tacos are next level—they don’t skimp on the meat! Two tacos here are like four tacos anywhere else, and they’re always packed with flavor.

The portions are huge, the food is always fresh, and you really get your money’s worth. Whether it’s tacos, burritos, or anything else on the menu, you won’t leave hungry.

If you’re looking for quality Mexican food with generous portions, MiFiesta is the place to go!”

Amazing selection of staples and more high-end or boutique ingredients, excellent staff, and great space to spend a long lunch break. i love that they work with local businesses and makers, and have a rotating schedule of sandwiches and breads from different bakeries in town.”

“This place is great. We tried to trick our daughter into thinking we were going here and it pretty much ruined our day at Disneyland. Telling my ex husband we are going to foodland on his birthday has become an annual tradition.”

“Fathi is awesome. Genuinely, it's been a pleasure to have met and built a relationship with him. Great conversations and stories can be had there, along with a wide variety of your "grab and go" convenience needs on the Westside of Santa Barbara. The early bird DOES NOT catch the written here though!”

“It's always a fun and great experience to wonder the aisles of the Grocery Outlet.
On my latest trips though I have found items that either weren't priced at all on the shelf or mislabeled. Case in point today I bought about 2 dozen items, and just noticed at home that I was charged $ 4.49 for cereal that was clearly marked $ 1.99. I bought two boxes . I was busy bagging my groceries and didn't notice the price discrepancy until I got home. An overcharge of $ 5.00 .
The only reason I bought these was the $ 1.99 price. Disappointing.
These days every $ counts .
Lesson learned and checking my bill before leaving the parking lot next time.”

“This is an amazing little "old school" market. The people are just authentic. Don't let the low rating and bad reviews fool you. They're all from little babies during the pandemic whining about face masks. The people that own/operate this establishment are real blue collar Americans. A rarity in SB. The have true grit and cold beer.”
