“Chile Verde burrito and tacos, shrimp burrito a la diabla, al pastor taco, and rice, beans, and chips were all delicious. Nice people, fresh food made quickly. So happy to find the Beach Liquor Mexican food again”
“honestly i was expecting just your typical grocery store run you know grab some stuff and get out but i ended up hanging out way longer than i planned becuase the produce section was actually super well stocked and everything looked fresh. the staff was real chill too like this one guy helped me find a specific kind of cheese and he actually knew what he was talking about which is rare these days. even the bakery had some good stuff i grabbed a baguette on a whim and it was still warm which definately made my day feel a little better. parking lot was a bit of a mess but whatever that hardly matters when the insides this nice. i'll probabaly come back here instead of the other grocery spot just because it felt less chaotic in there.”
“My wife and I were in Carpinteria for a few weeks in the summer of 2023 and this grocery store was a half mile walk from the place we were staying. It had a great selection of everything we needed including beer and soda and produce like celery. I learned a new dip combination too. Fat free Greek Yogurt and salsa from those big 1/3 gallon jugs. Cur up some celery and you are in business for a healthy and crunchy snack. The had Crystal Light packages for the pitchers, which I made often to cool off from our four mile walks on the Carpinteria Beach. Great service, the bathroom does have a lock that you need to find an employee to open, but that was about the only downside. Beer was expensive but that seems to be the case all over California grocery stores. Great local grocery store in a small town.”
“We ordered a pollo burrito. It was delicious. Perfect balance of beans, rice, cheese, salsa, meat and cabbage in each bite. One burrito was enough for two generous lunch portions.
Happy to find containers of red and green salsas in our to go bag. They were both the perfect balance of flavor and heat.”
