“There are really no words to adequately describe the marvel that is Divine's. It's a place that you need to go to personally to really understand the magic.
At Divine's, buying furniture never feels like a chore; even if just window shopping, the time spent inside Divine's is joyful and fun. A large part of that is due to Brian's, the owner's, impeccable eye and enthusiastic passion for furniture. More than anyone we've ever met, Brian is a fountain of knowledge, a living rolodex on all things furniture.
The pieces he curates are equal parts craftsmanship and equal parts art. Some are steeped with history, and others are restored to a new glory. Divine's just has so much cool stuff. I liken it to walking through a museum or art gallery, but with an even faster rotation of works. You never know what you might find on any given day!
The last time we were here, we picked up this gorgeous wood table at such an amazing price, as well as one of the most unique lamps we’ve ever seen. There’s really no furniture store like Divine's in all of SoCal!!”

“I purchased an absolutely stunning piece of furniture from Danish Modern L.A. - as I said to them after it arrived, it seemed more like sculpture than a bureau, albeit a highly useful! The bureau was in suberb shape and I would say just as described, except I really don't think any verbal description can give a sense of how amazing this piece is. The entire transaction from one coast to the other was extremely easy, from purchase to shipping to set up, and Jesse was very communicative and helpful throughout, as were their designated shippers. “I was looking for a couch that would fit our needs and not leave my wallet crying. I found Tempo on Offer Up and called to find out they have two locations. We visited one shop and found the right couch for us, but unfortunately only the display model was there. However, they were kind and accommodating and called up the other location to have them wrap the couch and have it ready for us to pick up that night even though it was about to be closing time. We got our couch that night and it has been perfect for us. This place has a lot to offer aside from couches, a great selection at reasonable prices.”

Perhaps I had this preconceived notion that any smaller mattress businesses might scam me into buying a cheap quality mattress for a really high markup price. Lo and behold, I was proven wrong. He was able to make spot on suggestions for the mattresses that best fit our needs and describe all of the qualities of each mattress and the comparisons between the one he thought best for our needs with those from other manufacturers. After trying multiple mattresses, the mattress Jeffrey originally described did end up to be our choice to purchase. He then described the entire process to get a zero interest loan from Synchrony and walked me through to the completion of the loan. After completing our purchase order Jeffrey arranged next day delivery which was a really pleasant surprise.
