“My family and I were here on a 7-day vacation to the area. We had a nice view of the ocean. We could also watch the people paragliding on the beach. Rooms were great. All the benefits of home comforts. Everything you need to make meals if you want. It's better than a hotel. Would suggest they upgrade dishwashers, but they got the job done. Staff is ready to address any issue. Nice amenities of hosting bon fires. Get there early to get a chair. We would stay here again.”

“It's a great place to stay whenever you are visiting Sunset State Beach. It is kid friendly. They have a pool for kids to enjoy which closes at 10pm everyday. They serve breakfast from 6am-10am.”
“Had a Wonderful stay, was greeted by a friendly gentleman named Sean who assisted with check in, he was warm and welcoming and made us really enjoy the rest of our stay.

“Massive room!
We had 2 kings and a pull out couch. One of the beds was in a separate room, unexpected but loved it. All staff we dealt with were kind and helpful. Location was close to everything we wanted to visit.”
“Pros: Welcoming front! Clean and modern! Check-in process was quick and the receptionist was very helpful and polite! Breakfast area was clean and tidy! Good breakfast buffet aligned with Holiday Inn Express standard!
Cons: The only complaint is the deceptive amenities advertised about the indoor swimming pool and pictures on all booking websites. The reception said it’s been closed and locked for six months with no updates. I visited Point Lobos Nature Reserve which I could have picked another closer IHG hotel with pool to relax after long hikes!”
“Facilities are very clean, staff is super nice. The downsize is that the whole place always smelled like pot. Like that, they provide breakfast, but the meat was always undercooked sausage. They need to actually cook it through and mix it up with bacon occasionally.
Nearby activities: McDonald's and In n out next door.”

“Great customer service. Informative with loads of suggestions on where to visit around the area. Room was decent. Comfortable beds for the two days we stayed. Bathroom was small but ok for what it's needed for. Shower is small. I had to cleanse the shower floor because I found d hair on the side wall. Put a towel on the floor to step on in the shower. The only thing that troubled me was the air conditioning. It was not loud. However, it was very dusty. Luckily the room had a balcony, I dusted off the filter as best as I could. Which once I put it back on the air conditioner, more dust was flowing in the air. Gas station/ mart, right in the same section of the INN. So that was good. Best gas price in town for that matter. Other than that, there is lots of good food around the area. Highly recommend Keiki's hawaiian food! 2.5 blocks down.”

“Had a short stay here while visiting in town to see the aquarium.The room was nicer than expected. It was clean, and the layout was great. I loved the balcony.The staff was really nice and we didn't have any issues during our one night stay.Rooms: Spacious, had a balcony. We stayed in a suite with two beds and a fold out couch.”

keeping it at 4 stars since we got another restful night and the flooring was remodeled. thanks for keeping the eggs separate from the meat and not mixing meat in the omelet.
the shower heads made me feel like I was living in my low income apartment complex. those are some of the simplest things to replace and that'll make our experience feel luxurious or not.
we ran out of yogurt and there were no toppings for yogurt (yogurt bar).

Loved the full breakfast, the staff, the young girl seemed nice but her appearance was unhappy, the young man was awesome, didn't get names.
Liked that the walls weren't paper thin like some other hotels, neighbors were t talking loud, but their sounds were drowned out by our heater and bathroom vent.
Disliked the maid who wanted us out before 11 so she could finish her cleaning. The toilet could be enlarged and there could be a mini frig added to all rooms. I think it's the first best western where there wasn't a frig.
Overall, would stay again.”

“The wife and I spent a night at the Comfort Inn in Marina while on a quick trip to Monterey. The property was just off the freeway, with a Denny’s around the corner,
across the street from a Walmart, and less than 2 minutes to the ocean at the end of Reservation Road. Room was large, comfortable, and fairly quiet. We found the beds and pillows to be great to us, and the hot breakfast to have plenty of options to choose from. The price was about average compared to other Comfort Inns we have stayed in this year, and though pricier than some of the motels in Monterey, it was a good place for us.”

“The only reason I give 4 stars is because we got 1 washcloth and had a king size bed (2 adults, no kids, no pets). But I always bring a few extra washcloths from home when I travel. Room was clean, cost is better than the franchise hotels. I like being able to park right outside my room, and have free parking and also no "resort fee"!!! We have stayed here in years past and hope the place is still in business when we come back to the area in a few years.”
“They did some nice updates here. We've stayed here a few times since we have family in Watsonville, and they have definitely improved. Front office staff was so nice and friendly. The breakfast was actually really good and they had so many options. It's nothing fancy but a good place at a good price.”
“One the finest and most beautiful Residence Inn i have stayed. Special mention of Hope, she was so kind and friendly at the reception and helped us with a smile and enthusiasm. Great customer service and made our stay very pleasant.”
“Great value. For the price, I could not hope for better. I had nothing to complain about. It is a good Motel 6. I was quiet, enough confortable. Good room temperature, no specific smell. I spent the night before in a way worse motel for the same price. I recommand this place.”

“I always want to buy everything here!It’s a one-stop store because they have boots, tons of Ariat jackets (more than the Ariat store ) , jeans, shirts, belts and lots of hats.The staff are friendly, they greet me and ohelped me find an outfit for my husband that would match my dress. Really patient and helped me find the correct boot size for my kids and me (first time buying them boots)Overall we bought an outfit for everyone and will come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“It was only a week ago when I first entered this Apt. complex, which is dated 1911 when built or was the ground breaking year for this then grand hotel and talked to Patti the Manager, about renting there and today I signed a lease. I am happy!”

“This hotel was such a pleasant place to stay! We have been staying at a few Hamptons and some Hiltons on a California coast trip. This hotel was new or remodeled; it was very clean. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, cereal, and a self-serve waffle bar. The coffee/ team counter was clean with hot coffee and water. The staff went out of their way with polite customer service. They even had to go bags for guests that needed to leave quickly in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Salinas.”

In the morning I asked the front desk to freeze some ice packs I had before I leave, and the kind lady was super helpful. She also filled my water bottle for the trip. “Oh Captain, my Captain! Moss Landing is such a hidden treasure, and this was an amazing way to spend the night! The view, the soaking tub, the bed, the decorations, the viewing deck... it was all wonderful to experience! Watching the birds and the otters in the Slough was spectacular! It was quiet and people were respectful of the quiet times. The tub filled up and the water was so hot the entire time. The bed was a little hard, but I slept like a rock!
The Innkeeper was delightful, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area! The snacks, treats, and beverages that were available in the common room were great options. I cannot wait to come back to this place again!”
