Mt Shasta Animal Hospital
1130 N Mt Shasta Blvd, Mt ShastaI took my 19-year-old Kitty into Mt Shasta Animal Hospital for her wellness checkup. My concern was she had mats I could not get out myself, due to her age she's stopped grooming herself. The tech was able to shave her without sedation and my kitty it is purring again! The receptionist was friendly and compassionate, the Dr called to tell me the results of the exam. The vet tech was so patient in shaving her and told me what a cooperative patient my kitty was. Check out and payment was quick. I'm very thankful to have my cute lion cut kitty happy again. From check in to check out my experience was 5 stars.

Mount Shasta Ranch Bed and Breakfast
1008 W A Barr Rd, Mt ShastaWe had an amazing time staying at the B&b, truly a hidden gem near Mount Shasta ❤️❤️
David (the host) was phenomenal. He's clearly passionate about what he has build here, with the beautifully restored 19th-century furniture to all the little details that keep the vintage charm alive.
Breakfasts were delightful; though simple, the food was incredibly tasty and thoughtfully prepared
The view was also stunning... We had a clear look at the icy tops of Mount Shasta right outside the door from our cosy cottage. The whole place is so peaceful yet full of character. It felt like a true escape from the noise of everyday life.
This place is so underrated, and really deserves much more love and recognition. Goes without saying, a definite recommendation for anyone looking for a weekend getaway :)

Hari Om Shri Ram | Indian Cuisine
531 Chestnut St, Mt ShastaReally good food, just like home made. Only one of the few restaurants open on Christmas and Christmas eve. Even with limited customers the food was great, chicken was perfect soft, unlike other restaurants who serve you old overcooked chicken, this place served fresh chicken. Highly recommend.

Seven Suns Coffee & Cafe
1011 S Mt Shasta Blvd, Mt ShastaLocal Lemurian legend has it that a pilgrim must do three sacred things when visiting Mt. Shasta: 1. Take in the mountain and pay your respects 2. Warm your soul with a Seven Suns Breakfast Veggie Wrap™ 3. Fill your vessel at the headwaters spring Honestly, #3 is kinda optional... personally, I'd skip it and just go back for seconds at Seven Suns. True story: Recreational hiker John Muir once visited Mount Shasta and famously proclaimed, "It's a'ight. Could really use a good breakfast burrito joint tho." The Vortex heard his prayer, and that's how the town ended up with the Seven Suns Breakfast Veggie Wrap. Get it with no cheese and tofu instead of eggs. It's the best vegan breakfast you can get in these parts, at least above ground. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-17

Sparky’s Landing
316 N Mt Shasta Blvd, Mt ShastaGreat experience. The service was excellent, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and you can really tell there’s quality in the ingredients and care in the preparation.
The atmosphere is also very pleasant, a beautiful and comfortable space. And an unexpected highlight was the playlist, at times it felt like someone was controlling my personal Spotify.
I’ll definitely be coming back.
