“A big shout-out to Polly and her gangster squad here in this location. Palin, Connie and that newbie teller Raymond. Palin and Connie (and Polly !!!) are an absolute delight. They are always very willing and accommodating when I go there to drop off some moolah for deposits.`Very professional and personable . It is tucked in the corner of California and Castro, right across a Bank of America which can be hellish with the lines very often. The atmosphere at Bank of The West Castro St. is calm, welcoming and they laugh at my jokes ... which means they get how crazy I can be...in a versatile and full of finesse kind of way. Connie is often times the teller who helps me.`Polly would come around (I believe she is the branch manager) and would join in the chatter when I am the only one making noise echo and have it bounce like bad check against the walls of their first-floor branch. Palin has her sh%T together and if I am making a complicated transaction, she won't hesitate to come save the day. One time, I was having too much fun chit-chatting while my $$$ was getting deposited that I left forgetting my favorite visor (you know, the kind that shades your entire trunk). I called the bank and Polly answered the phone and told me that they will hang on to my visor and keep it safe until I am back there. This branch is super rarely swamped...even of Fridays ! Hence, not only are the clubs along this strip the best place to be on a Friday, this bank also got your grooves intact.”
“My husband is a member, every time he goes the service is great very friendly staff, last week he went to make his car payment and was helped by James Newson he was very knowledgeable about the different services and gave my husband an offer to get a credit card without pressure my husband applied and was approved, James thank you for your service and knowledge.”

He spent several hours helping me resolve a previous account issue with great patience and attention to detail. When assisting me with opening a new account, he was extremely thorough, walking me through small but important details, such as how to set up the virtual card display properly and how to avoid unnecessary fees. “Big shout out to Phuong and team here for their excellent service! I had been out of country for over 5 years and all my banking accounts were dormant. I needed to make an urgent deposit to hold a place and team here really came through in helping my banking get up and running in no time. They initially let me know it takes atleast one business day for activations but understanding my situation, Phuong made several calls and worked with her team and got everything set up in an hour. All the staff members at branch were very friendly and happy to help. Thank you all again!”

“I am a long-time business account holder with Bank of America, and my family also maintains multiple business relationships with your institution.
I’m writing to share a concern regarding my recent experiences at your Mountain View branch, especially with Fatima Taleb / business solution advisor
During the early stages of setting up my business account, I was approached multiple times about purchasing a payment terminal. While I understand that product recommendations are part of the service, I had clearly decided not to proceed.
Since then, I’ve noticed a shift in how I am treated during in-branch visits. The tone and level of service I’ve received have felt noticeably less professional, which is disappointing given my long-standing relationship with the bank.
I value respectful and consistent customer service, regardless of purchasing decisions, and I hope this can be addressed moving forward.

“7/18/19 Met Alex at this Miramonte branch in Mountain View. He introduced me to Kevin who is the Mortgage Consultant. Alex mentioned that he is in charge of Heloc but he recommended I also speak to Kevin which I did. 7/20/19 It's Saturday today so I will give them till Monday to respond to my email and see if they can help me with my needs for a Jumbo Home Refi for a Primary Home in Los Altos and a Second Home in San Francisco. More update next week.”
