“On the morning of August 12, I discovered a flat tire while leaving my driveway to take my child to summer school. After calling roadside assistance to put on the spare tire, I phoned your shop. I was told to bring the vehicle in and that the repair would take approximately an hour and a half.

I dropped the vehicle off before 10:00 AM and walked to a nearby store with my child to wait. However, when I returned, I was informed that the car would not be ready until 2:00 PM. I spoke with the manager, Joe, to understand the delay, as I had been given an initial estimate of 11:30 AM. Joe explained that scheduled appointments take priority over walk-ins. While I understand this policy, it was frustrating given that a flat tire is an unforeseen emergency that could not be scheduled in advance.

To expedite the process, I requested to remove all extra add-ons, such as the tire rotation and inspections, and asked to only proceed with the tire repair. Joe was very helpful and accommodating from that point forward, ensuring the repair was completed and the keys were returned to me by noon.

I appreciate Joe’s efficiency and kindness in resolving the situation quickly once the misunderstanding was addressed. However, I wanted to highlight the communication gap regarding walk-in wait times, as clearer expectations at drop-off would have greatly helped me plan my day.”
