“This place is freaking incredible!!! I found 30 books I needed immediately, and the whole store is set up so perfectly! Little book reviews placards all around with the books, sectioned into genres, and they have whole series available! Booktok girlies DREAM store!!! Fun stickers, pins, bookmarks, special editions, and great staff!!!!”
“Love the retro vibe here. They have everything you could think of. They have movies(dvd, vhs, and blu Ray), cds, records, tapes, action figures, a variety of random retro collectables, patches, posters, buttons, etc. You can't go wrong here. They have something for everybody. The clerk running the register was so friendly. We got a free re-animated records tote bag for spending more than $100. We will definitely be back.”

3793 30th St, San Diego“Wow - what a perfect rainy day activity in North Park! From the second you step in, you're greeted with stunning displays of books and a cozy vibe that brought me back to my Scholastic Bookfair days. I felt like I could've stayed in there forever, cozied up on a lounge chair. Their selection of used books is massive and I even saw some signed copies. It's well organized and there's a great selection of more familiar books and some I had never heard of. I wish there was a little more curation at times with recommendations but it satisfied the avid reader in me to be able to peruse everything at leisure. I walked away with three books for $24 which is an absolute steal in my opinion. I don't think I saw anything over $30 for a hard copy signed book so the value is definitely there. This is such a lovely neighborhood bookstore that had me wishing I lived closer.”
“My new favorite bookstore! Amazing curation of books and just as amazing customer service. Latino-owned business with community at its heart. Amazing selection of books that are rarely seen, if at all at any other bookstore. The branding is ?, the little trinkets and decor Everywhere invokes a sense of Chicano whimsy that is unmatched. In love with Libélula and will definitely make this a must-stop on all future visits to San Diego. Much love - Alex @ravg.arts from LA ♥️ Tlazocamatli ”

3555 Rosecrans St Suite 107, San Diego“It is so wonderful to have a bookstore dedicated to speculative fiction! They do a great job recommending books. Layout is inviting and staff is friendly. I make a point to visit whenever I am in town.”
“I work here because I love this place. Customers are wonderful and so are the owners. We also can personalize just about anything to make it extra special. We now have an online store. CChristBooks.com. Check it out!”
“Stumbled across this bookstore in Hillcrest. So much history and good finds here. The coolest bookstore in SD! Staff is awesome. Highly recommend checking it out.”
“Great bookstore in South Park. I love stopping by whenever I'm in the area. They have a really amazing curation of books, one of the first places in SD where I was able to find Asian translated fiction. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable so if you ask for recommendations they'll definitely have some ideas!”

8285 La Mesa Blvd, La Mesa“I had been wanting to check this store out for a while and finally got around to it last week. What a selection! I could truly spend hours here, there's so much to sift through. Craig, the owner, was very nice. Quarters are a little tight, which makes it feel crowded if a lot of people are there. I was very impressed with the philosophy and poetry sections! Prices were incredibly reasonable also! I can't wait to be back!”
“An old theatre repurposed to be a book store is probably the best use of the space! It's a regular Barnes and Noble with regular Barnes and Noble pricing, but the atmosphere is very cool with the theatre feel. Parking is in the back, and unlike regular Barnes and Noble stores, there's no cafe.”

3150 Rosecrans Pl, San Diego“I had such a fun time here! I work nearby and I’d seen this bookstore multiple times and decided to go in and look around. I was not disappointed. They have a huge selection of books. They also have a hefty selection on legos and little Knick knacks. I loved roaming around and just seeing all the different things. If ever in the area I recommend going in and just looking around for fun or if you’re looking for a book I think they’ll have it available (:The kids selection is pretty big. The biggest selection I’ve seen so far!”
“I'm Thankful for the teachings and insights I have received from Unarius and its students. Each time I visit, I feel uplifted and that I am participating in creating my positive future. From discussing topics with the students, taking creativity workshops and participating in the classes and events, I am gathering tools and experiences that help me to grow and hopefully help in creating a better Earth for us all. I think the creativity workshops are probably the best way to visit especially if you can tie it with a tour. It would be a great first introduction. Besides the workshops, I really love the Crystal Flame Ceremony in December. My first actual visit (I've been aware of Unarius for years) was a visit during business hours. We spent an hour talking with Billie who has painted some of the most well known paintings of Unarius. Each time I visit now I can feel the positive energy and excitement building. Stop in and ask questions. They are always willing to talk. There are a ton of books and dvds and everyone's favorite, the starship pin!”
“This is a must go place among many other attractions in San Diego. In fact, it got to be in the top 10 list for being such a splendid and magnificent architecture in the heart of San Diego, offering a place for book lovers, knowledge seekers etc. There are multiple levels with a huge collection of books, computers, secluded areas to focus on one's work and beautiful views of the beautiful city. There is also an auditorium for various types of events adjacent to a small open area. Parking is nothing to worry about. Come, park and enjoy this luxury.”
“I do like the store, the people were friendly and not only did I find the book I was looking for, my wife found one that she has been wanting to read. If you want to shop books, but want the hands on the product feeling, I would absolutely give this particular store a recommendation. We recently came into possession of stamp albums with no postage, and thought we better educate ourselves before we make the wrong move. Most the employees know what their doing, but one might not know the difference from poetry and religion lol. Great store though....”
“I make it a point to visit bookstores wherever I go. I found this charming store while walking around. At the time didn't take any photos inside due to them doing a remodeling. Prices are good. They were running a remodel sale. The store is small but the service and selection are great. Overheard one of the employees assisting a customer and could her the joy in recommending them Lion Witch and Wardrobe. If you needed any special order books the staff is more than willing to accommodate you. Highly recommend supporting this local bookstore.”
“Dr. Ma Lan and her team at Wellness Publications, LLC are wonderful to do business with and they have many excellent informative proprietary books and publications, many that she has co-authored.”
“We had a large group, the restaurant was full. We were seated without a long wait, orders were taken in good time and food served without a long wait. Then we were forgotten. Food was excellent and prices reasonable but we had to hunt for service after we received our meal. Too bad.”

He has brought me though the stuff times of my life. we all need a person we can count on to be there with health concerns. Call today and ask for advise. Stay well and happy. “Finally made it to this wonderful book store . Huge and varied selection of books . I love the feel and smell of small independent bookstores . Lots of rare gems here . There is also a nice selection of books for only a dollar . They also have incense and candles . Love the decor and the owner was super polite and helpful . Also there is a tarot reader if you want a reading too how can you beat that :) . I could spend all day here just looking at all the books . I will be spending lots of time and pay checks here . Support local :)”
“I know people already wrote about the significance of this place to the Beat Generation of SD, so I'm not going to write more about that.Jack Kerouac alley is right next door between this book store and Vesuvio Bar, by the way.”
“*This review is for the Clockwork manicure robot* The Clockwork nail painting machine is SO COOL. IT'S A MUST-DO. You don't need to be a student to go into the SDSU Bookstore and get a robot manicure! It's only open when the Bookstore is open, but the website's time slots for appointment booking is accurate. There's a bathroom in the library next door but not in the Bookstore. If you have a friend who has done it, they have a referral link that's 20% off. Also, after you go for the first time, they send you a link for 50% off your next visit. The normal price is $10. The only thing I don't like is that the nail polish they use does have a chemical smell. It took me 45 minutes for my first robot manicure, but I'm sure I'll get better at it, so it'll be faster next time. I do wish they had a baby pink color! You also get to keep the nail polish remover pot and take it with you so you have it to remove your nail polish later!”

“A terrific store for serious boaters. Capt. Ann Kinner the owner, always ready to help and has experience that is par excellence. Many years a customer and student! Capt. Buck McAllister --S/V Venceremos”
“It's been a pleasure doing business here. Excellent products (sold in bulk), prices, and customer service! The employees here are very personable and make sure your wholesale order is exactly as desired.”

2540 University Ave, San Diego“Great scented shea butters, oils, jewelry. The Rihanna and Kush butters smelled amazing. The owner was very kind and knowledgeable while showing me around the store. They have a great book and clothing selection that sends great messages. I bought some stickers with quotes from the store. Very easy going atmosphere.”
10AM - 4PM
522 C St, San Diego“It's probably because the school year is barely starting, but their stock was a bit low. In the apparel there's not the necessary variety of styles, colors and sizes for a campus that big, and boy is the clothing awesome!!!!.(plus great clearance prices) The baseball hats, the beannies, cool t-shirts and sweatshirts.... . But the jackets.... Those are a must have for the winter weather. Hopefully in the coming weeks jackets for women will become also available.”
“This is a wonderful Book Store. It’s beautiful and clean. Great location and very friendly staff. It’s great that they have books from local authors as well.”
“I went there to get a few books and they had everything I needed, then some. I will be making another trip there on Sunday. Very friendly and just a good Christian store. May God continue to use this store to spread His word.”
