Hours: Hertz Car Rental on Sweetwater Road in National City is generally reviewed as one of the best locations. Customers describe the folks as very nice, friendly, efficient, super helpful, and professional. The staff is noted for being outstanding, extremely patient, and calm even during stressful situations, handling issues with understanding and empathy. The location offers great cars and an excellent selection, including electric cars. A convenient feature is that it is right across the street from a gas station for easy refueling before return. However, a significant drawback mentioned is that they absolutely never answer the phone, which is described as either automated or a no-go. Despite such issues, the customer service on the inside receives high praise, and the location comes with a strong recommendation from multiple renters.
