“This is not your average sandwich shop! In fact, the.members of our party said this was one of the best sandwiches that they EVER had. Of course we had to go back for a second time while we were in town for the Canyons endurance races. Keep up the great work gang ?”
“We LOVE TJ’s and REALLY wish we’d get one in Grass Valley (hint, hint). The flower selection is always abundant and well-priced. We love the unique food selections in all departments. The checkers are always friendly.”
“Ikeda’s is one of those places that has become a destination all by itself. What started as a fruit stand has grown into a unique specialty market, restaurant, bakery, and gift shop all rolled into one. It’s like walking into an indoor farmers market filled with fresh produce, local goods, canned foods, specialty items, and some of the best baked goods around.
On this visit, we stopped for lunch and enjoyed burgers, fries, and shakes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We’ve also had their pot pies in the past, and they’re always excellent. The quality of the food is consistently good, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back.
Of course, Ikeda’s is famous for its pies, and for good reason. This time we tried the Dutch Apple Pie and the Marionberry Pie, and both were absolutely delicious. The crust was flaky, the fillings were generous, and every bite reminded us why their pies have such a great reputation.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. Whether you’re stopping for a meal, shopping for fresh produce, or just grabbing a slice of pie, Ikeda’s is worth the visit.
We’ll definitely be back again—and probably leaving with more pie than we planned on buying!”
“The Trader Joe's in Folsom is incredibly busy any time of the day...every day of the week...yet the staff remains helpful, great attitudes and actually have smiles on their faces! Just wish there was one closer to Cameron Park!”
“I had their chicken burrito today and it was huge and the wettest burrito that I’ve ever had (much better than a dry one) but I thought it was too big and had too much stuff in it. It fell out of the tortilla as i was eating so I had to re-wrap using the foil. Very tasty.”
“I've never left a review for a grocery store before, but this store is awesome!!!
They have soooo many healthy food options! They also have a lot of vegetarian food options! I love all the fruit and veggies powders they sell! They also sell protein drinks for $1.99, which are normally sold for $4.99 in other stores!
Also, the people who work here are very friendly and helpful!!! I absolutely love this store!!!”

“I cheated on this Costco with the new one on Baseline Rd. Big regerts. Getting in and out of this parking lot isn't my favorite thing to do, but it sure beats a trip to India that I didn't ask for. Good selection, nice employees, Roseville vibes. Never change.”
“This is where the big $20 million Set For Life scratcher was sold. And this is where I get my craft beer. Foothill Market stocks: Liquid Gravity, Sudwerk, Revision, Crooked Lane, Big Sexy, Altamont, New Glory, Bullmastiff, Tower, Black Plague, Dust Bowl, Pliny, ect... The best feature of this store is, you can buy a single beer or receive a 5% discount on a mix and match four pack. I would recommend checking the dates on the craft beer before you purchase them. “Dan and Shasi are the most wonderful and welcoming proprietiors of Woodys. It's been a convenient neighborhood store for years. It's not just a liquor store but a place to run in and pick up milk and bread or something else that you need.”
“I shop Grocery Outlet before I go to another supermarket. They don't always have everything you need, but if you can find it there, you most likely find it for less. Plus if you search around, you can usually find a good deal on things that aren't found elsewhere.”
“Went here today to support our local carniceria. Got el pastor and some other items. Excellent service. Highly recommended. Lots of fantastic items to choose from. Support local.”
“AMAZING Customer service from Allison, Christian and Hunter!
This past Sunday I had the BEST experience from these 3; started with the warm and energetic greeting from Hunter at the Spicy Popcorn tasting to the helpful explanation and recommendations from Christian in the deli dept; topped with the EXCEPTIONAL leadership from Allison when there was a slight error in pricing.
Overall, this team made my extremely loooong and taxing day, as I taking care of people for 8hrs prior to stopping in, FABULOUS!
Words cannot say THANK YOU enough!!!!
Well done Team Sprouts; definitely my FAVORITE store in Roseville.”
“Almost always the cheapest fuel (gasoline or diesel) in any city where there is a Costco gas station. Refueling is fast and easy with multiple pumps on each lane.”

“I want to give shout out to Crystal from deli meat department, I requested her to change her gloves for religious reasons and she went above and beyond to give customer service to me. Not only she cleaned the entire meat cutting machine; she opened new chicken since previous one sat on that machine that cut ham. Safeway please retain these kind of employees who not only provide the best customer service but also show respect towards the culture needs of customers. In spite of being alone at the counter on Friday evening, she had smile on her face and the right attitude in her voice. Crystal should be employee of the month!”
“I shop at Raleys in Granite Bay all the time. It is my favorite store. I love it, everybody there is always so kind and helpful. I just wanted to give a shout out to Nate, he is often working in produce and sometimes working in the checkout stands. He has helped me so many times find produce that I was looking for, go in the back to see if they have more and just any kind of help that I needed. He’s always super nice and helpful.”
“Whole Foods is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and atmosphere are always consistent. It’s calm, clean, and thoughtfully curated — a place where even a quick stop feels a bit different.
We often stop here when traveling. It’s a reliable option when you want something fresh and simple without going to a restaurant.
Also noticed over time: if there’s a Whole Foods nearby, the neighborhood is usually a good one.”
“I absolutely love this store.Dropped in on accident!
The fruit is excellent, fuji apples and bananas best around.
This is the only place I shop beside costco ”
“Great place to pick up organic produce, eggs, dairy, grass fed meats, honey, beautiful handmade items and honestly too much to list. So happy to have found The Farmers Market Place?”
“The owners are always so friendly, and I love that they sell local products, supporting small businesses. They have a wide variety of things like meat, bread, books, oral care, cooking equipment, gluten free options and a ton more.”
“We LOVE this Amazon Fresh store, and are brokenhearted to hear it will be closing. Loved the deals, cleanliness, and friendly, welcoming associates.
I'm hoping Amazon changes their mind and keeps this location open. ???”
“I'm a self proclaimed grocery store connoisseur and I enjoy going to different grocery stores to see how they compare. Nugget Market is definitely an upscale grocery store and the prices reflect the high quality products available. That being said, they did have 10/$10 Annie's Mac and Cheese which was an excellent deal. I also got a beautiful thing of strawberries for $4.99 which was onsale from $7.99. The bakery is very impressive, I got beautiful looking lemon meringue tarts which are difficult to find so I was really excited for those! The other baked goods all looked and smelled really tasty. All the employees from the people behind the bakery counter to the people at check out seem to be genuinely happy and provide excellent customer service. The store is clean, well stocked, has a huge variety of products ranging from more traditional supermarket brands to more upscale items. The prepared foods section has a ton of different options and everything seemed really fresh and hand prepared. Overall this was an excellent shopping experience and I'm very excited to come back!!!”
“So I recently visited this Bel Air in Auburn, and let’s just say, it looks NOTHING like the pictures on here. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. My lawyers will be hearing about this one. Ps: really nice cashiers, love you Helena! ”
“A must go for meat for bbq and hot food. Try their homemade salsas they are amazing!!!! Friendly staff went first time today and they had free bottled ice water available for all. My new Mercado to go to, thank you!!”
“Its a mini mart, and I came here to buy lotto because its a lucky retailer. The store is well kept and the owner was super nice and inspiring. If I'm in the area again and need lotto, its worth the drive just for the good vibes.”
“I like Safeway for their wide selection. Produce and meats are typically fresh, good and reasonably priced. And they present their stores much nicer than their competitors like Save Mart,”

“Wow!!! Amazing job to whoever hired terry & brandon!!!!! Terry is phenomenal, I’ve never met someone like him. Everyone loves him. My children. He’s so pure and an amazing worker. He brings so much joy to this world.”
“Great little store. It’s nice to have an affordable place to shop up here, as some of us can’t afford the exorbitantly expensive grocery stores on the divide. NIMBY naysayers like Laura move up here from the Bay Area, get their piece of the divide, then complain about any other progress up here ??♀️… Move to Alaska if you don’t like growth. This store is not putting anybody out of business. It is providing a service to those of us who don’t have deep pockets.”

“I was in the store yesterday picking up a coconut cake I ordered a few days ago. The Baker was already gone for the day so when I picked it up, it wasn’t what I expected. I stared to get very upset!!! I expected it to have coconut all over the outside, but it looked like a basic white cake. (Long back story about the coconut cake… too much to type) Anyway, I started to get upset with the nice young lady so she got the manager… Serena (spells it differently). Serena listened to me complain and she calmed me down! Since we were not sure if it was a white cake or a coconut— she gave me the cake for free! Great customer service!!!
Update— it was coconut ? and it was delicious!!! ??”
“Smart and final is super helpful for our business. It helps us stay stocked up on our cleaning supplies and snacks that we sell to our customers. Definitely worth checking out to stock up on items or get competitive pricing for products to use at your business”
“Looking for a good right off 1-80 deli sandwiches. I’d stop at Carol’s and sot on the benches outside. A great alternative to the chains or main stream grocery stores”
