“Very good store. Looks and feels bigger than your average Trader Joe’s. I think they carry more items as well that I did not see in other locations. Highly recommend this location.”

“This is a very clean location with a wide variety of grocery needs. This store is very convenient for everyone who is exercising in the gym we operate. Keep up the good work ethic team Pavilions.”

“Gelsons supermarket is one of the most organized and fancy markets in Southern California. Excellent produce, Deli, Salad bar. All the regular daily needs plus more exotic funds. Their prices are typically more expensive than other markets. But besides the excellent quality and selection, they do offer better sevices like opening up more registers as soon as the available ones get busy.”

“Solid neighborhood Pavilions and one of the best grocery stores in the immediate area. I’d say it’s Bristol Farms > Pavilions > Gelson’s > Ralph’s in terms of overall quality, selection, and price.

The Ralph’s on 17th (the big one) is a solid market as well. Bristol is Bristol and a bit out of the way.

The Balboa Peninsula is always stocked with great produce (their produce standouts), solid butcher, nice deli, Startbucks and solid liquor department. Anything and everything you could want is readily available here. Not to mention, friendly staff that makes you feel like you’re at your local store every time you visit.

Summer is a zoo here but always in a fun way. Except for when the Vegas and Arizona spring breakers arrive. Disaster.”

“Great place to go for about anything from a small market. You don't see many markets around the water especially on the boardwalk. So it a very good place to go if you don't want to grab your keys and drive out to find a market . Just stay in your comfort zone and walk on in . Very convenient place to shop . Nicolas likes meeting all kinds of his furry friends to sniff , and bark at.”

“Beautiful store with customers bringing dogs inside. I told the managers and they said customers would get upset if they were told to take the dogs out. Dogs did not have guide dog harness. One dog went behind the bakery counter. This is a chronic problem, not an isolated incident.”

“I had a few rude experiences here. But I continued to shop here and they’ve made a huge turn around. Don’t know how or why. I have noticed different employees but I shop here at all different times so who knows. Now it’s my favorite grocery store.”

“ALMOST PERFECT ! Overall this is the best Whole Foods Market store in our neighborhood which includes Tustin and Irvine. With the huge Fashion Island parking garage it is never hard to get a secure undercover parking spot here...and very close to the store. FIRST UP ! It is a very well presented store and not over bright inside. My fav fresh squeezed orange juice is usually in the fridge...not so at the other 2 locations near us. And this is the only location in these parts which sells our fav ham....Creminelli Prosciutto Cotto. TOO EASY ! We parked our wheels in the parking garage across from the store around 10.15am on Saturday. FIRST UP ! My wife stocked up on fresh fruit and veggies while I headed over to the deli to buy our ham. OH NO ! Rebecca told me they no longer sell Creminelli Prosciutto Cotto....she said it just didn't sell well enough. I was almost heartbroken ! My options were now Fork In the Road "Black Forest" Ham or Fork In The Road "Virginia" Ham. Rebecca kindly gave me a sample of each variety...I liked the flavor of the Virginia ham much better....more natural. So I bought 2 lbs of number one thick and went over to the bakery next door for a peek. WHOOPEE ! Straight away I spotted the Pumpkin Seed Ciabattas. This is the only Whole Foods Market store that bakes these incredibly delicious ciabattas. We haven't seen them in many months because there has been a shortage of pumpkin seeds. I bought one of course...$5.50 and still a bargain ! Meantime my wife surprised me with something that our Tustin store has been out of for weeks....Porcini Mushroom Tortelloni. It's so good my wife picked up 2 packs...MADE IN ITALY. We bought some Seggiano Pizza Sauce, Seggiano Toscani Organic Pasta and Bucatini Organic Pasta.....very delicious products. I grabbed a one gal Crystal Geyser Natural Alpine Spring Water ( soft water for our Gaggia Espresso Machine ). Our shopping cart was almost filled up with Arborio rice, russet potatoes, baby bok choy, loose carrots, center cut Atlantic salmon fillets, brown onion, Hass avocado, sweet potato, white mushrooms, Laura Chenel goat cheese creamy brie and FRA'MANI spicy Italian smoked sausages ( no bulk Italian sausage ). BOOZE ALLEY ! After receiving terrible service at the Total Wine & More location in Tustin...I am buying all my craft beer at Whole Foods Market again. I selected 1 x 4 pack of Common Space "Dripping Colors" Hazy IPA ( something new ), 1 x 4 pack of Delirium Tremens Belgian Ale ( world's best ) and 1 x 6 pack of Leffe Belgian Blonde Ale ( love this ). FINALLY ! We had to check out the cakes..my wife wasn't baking this week. WOW ! The Chocolate Eruption Cake looked astounding and what a great name for a cake. I asked Ariana behind the counter if they baked this one in house....yes was her reply. How fresh ? They just came out of the oven this morning. We bought one and it was so delicious that evening. VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE AT THE CHECKOUT !”

“Nice store
I believe this used to be
Hughes El Rancho back in the days.
The "old" Ralphs just a block down actually has the Premium beef though”

“The pharmacy staff and pharmacist go above and beyond to fill, help and offer information. What many people don't realize is that they are often short staffed. I highly recommend this pharmacy!”
