“Even before walking in the door, you can learn a lot about a repair shop by the professionalism you hear on the phone. Then once inside, look around. A shop that takes pride in its office- takes pride in its work. Those were my first impressions with California Transmissions. Jacob was honest, polite and easy to talk to. The small office was clean, organized and clearly not just a place to take people's cash. I even peeked in the bathroom which was sparkling. “Transmission was slipping a bit on 2021 ford 550 work truck and needed an honest company to check it. I knew Wes from the church and figured that was a good place to start. They ran the codes and changed the fluid and now it shifts like a Cadillac. No major repairs required. And these ford 10 speeds are notorious for going out so anyone could easily sell a full replacement.
Also had them service the rear end diff and he came back with a lower price than quoted, saying it was easier than expected. They are honest. Transmissions are one of those things you gotta find someone honest.”

“This place is fantastic. I called Mercedes because I was worried my car was overheating, it’s my first time owning a Mercedes. They wanted $300 dollars just to look at the car. I called A&B and the gentleman I spoke to was amazing. He wasn’t worried about charging me money, he was just worried about helping me. I wish I had taken his name down cause he deserves the credit, but he let me send him a picture of the temp gauge and told me it’s normal for Mercedes to run where I see the temp this time of year. He could have told me he needed to see the car first just to get that money for the diagnostic but instead he took time out of his day to sit with me on the phone, receive a picture from me, and put my mind at ease. Trust me when I say if the car stays this hot during the winter I’ll be taking my car here cause I know I can trust the service to be honest and fair. If you need your car worked on, hit these guys up they’re the real deal.”

“Multiple shops failed to sort out the issue with my 3rd gen 6.7 probably bc there wasn’t a CEL. O2 monitor wouldn’t set and it turned out to be the result of a bad thermostat. They sorted it out and I passed smog without issue. They also threw the diag costs towards the bill.
