“Very friendly staff and the hot food is full up even in the morning for us on the go working type folks. I go to the laundromat at the same time (7 am) every week and walk here for caffeine, hot food, random things I forgot I needed, etc. There's always a good reason to stop here. Some old dude crashed into the front door recently, injuring some people and the place has been closed for over two weeks so far. I hope they take his license away permanently. Old people should not drive! Anyway, love this place and hope it reopens soon. Hope the staff are being paid in the mean time.”

“Late-night service was excellent here, unlike so many other local spots where attendants are on their phones, don’t say hello, and seem annoyed when you ask for their help.”

“What a wonderful staff. They are short staffed, have an influx of scheduled and from 2-3 walk-in Covid booster vaccinations. Clearly they are overwhelmed. They took us because we had called yesterday and they were troopers to honor that!!!”

“Finally the CVS in Novato at the Square has some amazing employees. Evelyn was awesome! She was friendly, helpful and knew how to use a coupon I had loaded onto my card and forgot about. So many times the employees were slow and uninformed. I hope this is the start of a new era of employees. She was wonderful!”

“Super awesome night employees. They were out of milk to make hot chocolate so I asked if I could buy a milk and if they would still make me one. Worth the extra cost. Super friendly and accommodating”

“Love everyone here at this store! They are all so helpful and sweet and understanding. Highly recommend!! I came from a Safeway pharmacy with antiquated computer systems and countless delays on every prescription for my family. Couldn’t take it anymore. Serra (sp?) is awesome and everyone there is great!”

“I like this gas station. It was recently refurbished and updated to be a convenience well lite location. I like the hours and the bright lights at night. I feel comfortable here and the employees are very nice. The gas is of quality, my car does not make pinging noises when I use it. The look and feel is consistent with other Shell station and the location is clean, perhaps that's because it's new. The location is downtown Novato, just across the street from Starbucks and Trader Joes. I'm a fan and like very much this Shell station on Redwood Blvd.”

“This is the "Loop Market" that's the food mart & Car wash of the Shell gas station at Rowland & S. Novato Blvd. It's near the freeway ramps, so that's why the gas prices are higher. Also. Shell is a Top Tier major fuel brand, and has a reputation for being pricey gas. I was at this Shell/ Loop Market at about 850pm on a Tuesday. The car wash was closed, so I couldn't review that. The food mart was very clean and well organized. It looks like they were doing re-stocking or maybe an inventory count. I was looking for something to eat, and Oh Look! They have hotdogs! $1.99 for 1/4-lb hotdog. So I asked for a hotdog for two reasons: (1) I like their hotdogs, and (2) I wanted to see how he serves it to me. I told the clerk about my weird hotdog experience at the Loop Market in Daly City last week. He didn't know why they served hotdogs like that. The clerk served the hotdogs on buns, on their own paper tray. Very nice, but the buns weren't fresh. The actual hotdog was fresh and juicy, and probably still within it's holding time for best quality. So in general, a good experience at this Shell station. The food mart is equipped with modern dispensers and fresh food tables. Also, lots of packaged foods are available.Note: Posted sign says no pump assistance for disabled persons at this station.”

“CVS is a well stocked food, pharmacy and sundries store. Quality products and a wide selection. Service is not as good as it used to be but when you can locate a floor employee they can usually find your items.”

“Everytime I walk into the Extra Mile Chevron at night, the place is spotless. Gerzan offers great customer service and never hesitates to meet any needs I might have. Also, probably the only gas station in novato where it smells clean & looks clean. Thanks for making getting gas and snacks a good time gerzan”

“I scheduled a tetanus shot at CVS online for the San Rafael location and then within a few minutes, I was notified that my appointment was canceled. I rescheduled and I soon had another email telling my appointment was canceled. I called the San Rafael store and after a substantial wait, I got the vaccination line which should be called the "Covid vaccination line." The woman who answered the phone asked how I came to the Covid phone line-she could not answer my tetanus shot appointment questions. So I tried a different tack and rescheduled for the Novato store. I arrived on time to find out that there was no record (on their system) of my Novato appointment, but that one of the two quickly canceled San Rafael appointments had already billed my insurance. Um, but I hadn't received any vaccine at this point. (So one star for the CVS online scheduling system, but I'm not reviewing that right now.) I was asked by Mamood (I am SO sorry if I have your name wrong) who I think is a pharmacist to come back the next day after they fixed this already-billed-your-insurance issue. He explained what had happened and how he was going to fix it. I showed up the next day super reluctant after the mixup. Plus a number of people had told me how much tetanus shots hurt. I remember this from childhood. Yikes. Why did I have to be so careless and cut my hand? Before the vaccination, Mamood was affable and VERY gentle. He joked around a bit to distract me and told me that I wouldn't feel the needle going it. Yeah, right. But HE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH. It was over in a flash and I left feeling very impressed and relieved. So if you need a vaccine of any type, I recommend the Novato CVS pharmacy on Grant Ave and the professional Mamood.”
