“Review for Chevron Gas Station – 1549 S Novato Blvd, Novato, CA I’ve been to a lot of air stations around Novato and have often found that the pumps don’t work correctly, causing more air to escape from my tires rather than filling them up. However, when I visited this Chevron location, I was able to get an accurate reading and fill my tires without any issues. The air sensor on my car turned off as expected, and I was done in no time. I would absolutely recommend this station if you need reliable air for your car tires! 3/19/25”

“One of my fav Latin stores to go to The location is very convenient. You can walk there. However there is also a lot of parking too The customer service is fantastic. Always smiling and making conversation The product selection is amazing. I am Colombian and I have been able to find Colombian products and items to make my recipes. A lot of fresh food Variety selection of meat. I find here what I don't find in big chain stores. Honestly I have never used their other services like sending money. So I can't say much about it. I really enjoy coming to this place. I feel I'm a safe space Thank you for everything you do!”

“Very friendly staff and the hot food is full up even in the morning for us on the go working type folks. I go to the laundromat at the same time (7 am) every week and walk here for caffeine, hot food, random things I forgot I needed, etc. There's always a good reason to stop here. Some old dude crashed into the front door recently, injuring some people and the place has been closed for over two weeks so far. I hope they take his license away permanently. Old people should not drive! Anyway, love this place and hope it reopens soon. Hope the staff are being paid in the mean time.”

“This is the "Loop Market" that's the food mart & Car wash of the Shell gas station at Rowland & S. Novato Blvd. It's near the freeway ramps, so that's why the gas prices are higher. Also. Shell is a Top Tier major fuel brand, and has a reputation for being pricey gas. I was at this Shell/ Loop Market at about 850pm on a Tuesday. The car wash was closed, so I couldn't review that. The food mart was very clean and well organized. It looks like they were doing re-stocking or maybe an inventory count. I was looking for something to eat, and Oh Look! They have hotdogs! $1.99 for 1/4-lb hotdog. So I asked for a hotdog for two reasons: (1) I like their hotdogs, and (2) I wanted to see how he serves it to me. I told the clerk about my weird hotdog experience at the Loop Market in Daly City last week. He didn't know why they served hotdogs like that. The clerk served the hotdogs on buns, on their own paper tray. Very nice, but the buns weren't fresh. The actual hotdog was fresh and juicy, and probably still within it's holding time for best quality. So in general, a good experience at this Shell station. The food mart is equipped with modern dispensers and fresh food tables. Also, lots of packaged foods are available.Note: Posted sign says no pump assistance for disabled persons at this station.”

“I like this gas station. It was recently refurbished and updated to be a convenience well lite location. I like the hours and the bright lights at night. I feel comfortable here and the employees are very nice. The gas is of quality, my car does not make pinging noises when I use it. The look and feel is consistent with other Shell station and the location is clean, perhaps that's because it's new. The location is downtown Novato, just across the street from Starbucks and Trader Joes. I'm a fan and like very much this Shell station on Redwood Blvd.”

“I’ll start by saying that Saba deserves a promotion and a raise!:-) We had an urgent situation on our hands needing a time-sensitive subscription after my son’s surgery (that the surgeon forgot to call in) and 1) rather than respond within the one hour response time the voice recording said they would respond in, Saba called us back in less than 10 minutes, and then went on to, not only expedite our order, but when I raced in to pick up the prescription, she personally made sure that we were tended to and got what we needed in the most timely fashion. She was a pure delight, as was the person at the register. Grateful for this invaluable service during a time of need????”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
