“Sharif’s is my spot! And has been for as long as I’ve been living in West Oakland. My go to for my morning coffee, paper, drinks, fresh veggies and ice cream..and of course lil here-and-there’s like hot sauce, noodles, air freshener, TP, etc. Whole family who runs it are good folks, and they keep their store stocked and make sure they ask their customers what we need or would like to see them in keep in stock. They recently renovated/expanded the interior, and it looks awesome! Super spacious, more fridges, new slushy machines, and revamped fresh veggie section amongst other nice upgrades. Love these guys. Quintessential neighborhood corner market.”

“My neighborhood store! Best in all of the town, staff is wonderful and they really care bout their customers. Not just alcohol but tons of necessities - comin here you can get the supplies to make yourself breakfast, lunch, and dinner, clean your whole place from top to bottom, and of course get yourself a beverage from a large variety of options.”
“They’ve actually got a surprisingly good selection here for being a corner store. You can even find minis of Crown Royal, La Gritona, Ole Smoky, etc. The mini selection is almost comparable to BevMo.
Do be advised, they only have Pepsi if you’re going down there for a Coca-Cola!

“We’re renting an Airbnb in Berkeley and were looking for a local grocery store and discovered the Dover Market on 60th & Dover! While the market is much smaller than a big supermarket, it has the important staples that made us very happy! They also carry Straus dairy products including their wonderful ice cream flavors!”

Even honest about dangers in neighborhood.
Was also tent or pop up outside for testing virus/free vaccines, for a brief time.
Cares for cleanliness.
Plenty interesting sweets.
And salty or savory snacks.
Healthy drinks.
Nice health bars

“A very clean, well lit liquor store with excellent selection and prices. However, there is a lot of convenience store items as well - plus some things that are just not found elsewhere, like multiple brands of TP in larger pack sizes! Family owned and operated. Clerks are always very polite and helpful if needed.”

“Just wanted to annotate for pump three. I saw alot of these weird shiny silver specs in the fuel and poured some in a clear plastic bottle and noticed them in there too, the specs settle in the bottle. Hopefully this gets looked into. It left quite a few in the filler neck when it spilled a little to catch in the bottle. Im not too familiar with it. May be normal. Who knows. I go to this gas station every week and this is the main pump used”
“For a liquor and wine spot, this is also a great little corner market. They keep it stocked! Besides the obvious at a liquor store, you can also find burger buns or cat food!! they got it!! Very clean, the store is space challenged but the variety makes up for it..”
“I started taking my car here about 15 years ago. Now my adult children and even my ex husband all take their cars here because I rave about this place. Toan’s motto is “do good work and don’t cheat people” They’ve more than lived up to that motto. Toan always finds the most cost effective solution, e.g. a rebuilt transmission, and when an old lemon of a car was on it’s last legs, Toan told me not to spend anymore money repairing it. It “died” a month later. We were taking my son’s VW to a “specialist” in VW’s every month to fix the same issue. When we took it to Toan, we never had that issue again”
