“Great antique shop right next to Jack London square in downtown Oakland. They always have a great selection - and the items are constantly changing which makes frequent visits entertaining. I’ve purchased multiple large furniture items from them. Staff has always been helpful and friendly.The place is also very dog friendly - and my dog always has a friend there when we go (as can be seen from the photos).The place has also been impacted by all of the retail crime that has been hitting Oakland, so definitely great to support their business if you can.”

“Paul Taylor is a superstar furniture maker. He does gorgeous work, with the greatest care and attention to detail. Paul built custom, floor-to-ceiling cabinets for our bedroom. He took into account all of our parameters and incorporated them into the final product. He gave us a computer sketch to review and play around with, and was able to let us view options in real time (such as the curvature of an edge, for example). He uses high quality wood and has great advice on material and finish. The cabinets Paul built are so beautiful that they make us happy every day. The wood grain aligns up the piece, even though there are separate doors and drawers. The functionality is also perfect, with drawers that glide noiselessly. Definitely hire Paul for your next project!”
“Dimensional outlet furniture has cut rate prices. They were supposed to deliver a bed frame for me today but it wasn't in yet. They said they will probably come tomorrow and I'll get it Saturday or Sunday. I don't mind because I have good furniture at a good price. They assembled the furniture and took away all of the cardboard wrapping. I gave it a four because their selection is a teeny bit limited.”
“This the place that has now moved to the top of the list in Montclair for unusual, charming house decorations. They did start off as window blinds primarily but I have been there for tastefully crafted vases, bowls, bags, spectacle cases etc. And then their wonderful gluggy water jugs. There are a lot of places in town to buy greeting cards, but when I want something humorous I go to them. Their staff have the right attitude and you really get rewarded for popping in there to support the local store and see what they've got.”

“I was surprised by the fascinating items in the store, many wood and stone carvings, and if you ask, you can see antique items, and some truly unique ones, not for sale, just their personal collection. At first it looks like many display cabinets, but there are vases, statues, and other items. I picked up a couple of gifts, small statuettes. The owner was very friendly and explained how to spot new versus vintage glazes. A real gem of a store and worth seeing.”

“Oh my god! This place is amazing and I love this place soooo much!! I set foot in this lovely store on Wednesday the 21st of July. This store is the place to go in Chinatown if you are looking for fine Chinese ceramics. This store mainly carries a whole bunch of ceramics imported from China, like bowls, vases, teapots, teacups, plates, and more. Also this store carries some other items that are not ceramics, like fans, mini pagodas for garden, and chopsticks. Even though this store is stunning, there are a few downsides I noticed in this store. The first one downside is the store is crammed with merchandise. It is very hard to navigate through the store, and some of the merchandise blocks access to other merchandise in the store. Another downside is that this store is a little pricey. Most items at the store start at $15 and go up. Even though this store has a few downsides, I would recommend people going there to get some fine china!”

“A 2nd for Jon Nichols. I called him looking for a dock that I could move. I didn't know what I needed, just that I had a problem and was looking for a solution. He said "you need a portable yard ramp". NO ONE, NOT ONE other material handling company in the entire Bay Area even knew the name of these Yard Ramps. Jon knew what I needed and he even has one! Going to be working with him in July for sure. Some day I am going to need a new forklift or racks for our warehouse or something and I am going to go to Cromer for the sole reason that Jon impressed me so much.
