“It’s not a huge place. But the visitor center is really nicely done and the docents are super nice. The trails are again not super long, but very beautiful and peaceful! Lovely to hang out by the lagoon for a bit. Trails are open even when the parking lot gate is closed.”

“I recently moved to Vista and came in to explore the CA Welcome Center to see the amazing things to do and see in the area - for personal and for my business. Looking through the brochure racks reminded me how much fun there is across San Diego County—restaurants, museums, nature, the ocean and little hidden gems everywhere. ✨Moving my business here has been the best decision. I followed my heart and intuition, and everything has been unfolding at ease. Walking into here and seeing all the ideas reminded me of the magic and energy of San Diego, and how our business services will add value here. ?Also love the shiny cherry-red VW Beetle convertible—it perfectly captures the fun coastal spirit of Southern California. A great stop if you’re looking for inspiration on where to explore next. Just careful when you get off the freeway as it’s an immediate hard right and easy to miss. Fun fact: California has more than 20 official Welcome Centers across the state, supported by Visit California to help travelers discover local experiences, attractions, and hidden gems you might otherwise miss. ?? I’m looking forward to contributing 3D virtual tours through a partnership with the organization and helping showcase even more of the incredible places to explore here! ?”

“I love this place. I collect vintage jewelry and they usually have something cute. The store is clean, well staffed and reasonably priced. Always fun to look. My one gripe is they lock some stuff up in such seemingly thoughtless ways- a locked figurine steps away from a teacup that is worth more. All the jewelry that is locked up is in a counter that makes removing more than one at a time impractical and I don't like feeling I'm holding others up. And the jewelry that isn't locked is behind the counter, best viewed thru the window from outside. I do wish there was a better set up, especially since their inventory has improved throughout the years I've been going. Better access would certainly increase what I buy.”

“Always love coming to this location with family! Seasonal items are always a hit and the prices are very fair compared to other thrift stores. Love the recent addition of providing checkout baskets…you’re going to need one to carry your treasures.

Also, we are always appreciative of the sweet customer service and local O'side atmosphere. My grandmother passed away years ago and each time I come here the staff remind me of her. ?”

“I take the drive to Temecula to visit this large Salvation Army store to deliver my slightly used households and clothing to be resold, and for my shopping needs. They are quite large and have a huge variety of items for sale, as you would expect. There are plenty of friendly employees, the quality of items is excellent and their prices are reasonable. They do have sales from time to time. I have literally furnished and decorated a small house entirely from this Salvation Army store. Their prices are very fair, plenty of parking, and they accept donations in back of the store. The drive is worth it.”

“Not only is the work they do here much needed, the owners, trainers, and staff are passionate about their mission. They're educatuated and experienced in excellent training methods and skills that maintain every dogs well-being. Their pups LOVE to learn and work with them! The trainers are detailed and patient with new owners as they learn to build bonds and a loving working relationship with their trained dogs. I am extremely impressed with their knowledge and abilities to meet the needs of their clients, human and canine! I HIGHLY recommend Shelter to Soldier if you’re in need of a trained canine companion to help you out. If you’re not, please consider reaching out to this amazing organization with your support so they can continue to serve shelter dogs and our service men & women in need!”

“First time I've been here in almost a year because my last experience here was not good and wow what a change! The prices are actually fair now and everything is so much more organized. Last time I was here you had to dig through piles of stuff on the shelves or on the floor just to find something good, but this time I was able to find a lot of good stuff easily! Even the employees seem friendlier. Whatever ya'll are doing please keep doing it!!”

“I visited the store today Oct 20, 20 and was so impressed with the help and the items in store. Valerie the cashier was so friendly and helpful even as she was very busy helping multiple customers. She was multi tasking to say the least, kept a smile on her face and I believe she actually cares and takes pride in her work. 5 STARS Valerie keep up the good work. My day was a pleasure and I’ll be coming back often. Note to management, she’s a keeper give her a raise!”
