“Was booked for an event at the listening bar Sound by the Sea and The Green Room was recommended. We absolutely loved our 3 day experience here. Daniel and the crew took such good care of us and made us feel as though we were a part of the family there, not some corporate customer. Dog friendly so we could bring our fur baby! Highly recommend taking the pup to the nature preserve just a block away. We will be back for the next event and thank you again for everything!”

“This is a great resort for our family to be a part of for many years. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but there are a few who could use some re-training. The location is the best being right across from the beach. Wi-fi is lacking as well”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marbella in Oceanside, and I'm happy to share my experience. I grew up in Oceanside and needed the perfect place for my partner and I to enjoy a weekend getaway. This was perfect! The room was clean, well-stocked with the essentials and even pots, pans, and other kitchen necessities, making it feel like a home away from home. The room itself felt very spacious, offering the comfort of a small apartment that you'd be happy to stay in for a long while. The interior was all updated with a nice modern and beachy aesthetic.There is a large deck to enjoy the views of the strand with a nice fireplace and a grill too! The other residents were super friendly and respectful during our stay. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves thoroughly.For anyone considering a peaceful getaway by the ocean, the Marbella should definitely be at the top of your list! I will certainly be staying here again. Cheers!”

“It was my first time staying here we loved it.
We loved our room and had a great ocean view and it was more like an apartment and had a separate kitchen, living room, balcony, bedroom and large bathroom with a large Whirlpool bathtub.
All the staff there were super nice and very helpful.
We especially love the valets.
They were super friendly and very helpful. We decided to use the valet service and it was very convenient as they would bring our car up if we needed to go out.
It was very close to the pier and we enjoyed our trips down to the beach.
There were tons of places to eat within walking distance.
We had a very positive experience and look forward to coming back!!”

“It's our second time here at Oceanside. Our first time was on May 9-10, 2021 with our parents. We fell in love with the Resort at that time and had wonderful pictures of our memories here in Oceanside. Now, we are so glad we are back and will be visiting here again in the near future. As I enter the building and our rooms, I always smell something good. It smells so clean and fragrant. I love it here because of cleanliness and the location! I see the view of the ocean from our room. And I love it that it's just a few minutes walk to the Harbor Village & the beach! I love the amenities, kitchen, the bathrooms, bedrooms, dining and living rooms in Worldmark . It feels like home!”

“My husband and I came to visit our daughter on base. This hotel was extremely close and easy to navigate to town as well. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Probably one of the most comfortable beds we've slept on in quite some time. Two minor issues was the train going by in the morning woke us and the pool isn't heated. But thankfully there is a hot tub. We had an amazing view of the ocean and the walking path to the marina was on site.”

“We brought the kids for a beach trip from Vegas. We got a room with a balcony and it was by far one of the best rooms we’ve had. It was very spacious. The room was very clean upon arrival. I was nervous after reading reviews about the cleanliness and noise level but I must say that I was surprised that there were so many negative reviews. We weren’t able to hear the highway noise at all unless we were sitting out on our balcony. We will definitely use this hotel again if we return for a visit.”

“Updated, old school vibe. I think the place was built in the 30's but very modern. Clean rooms, amazing, vibey restaurant downstairs with Polynesian inspired dishes. Staff was friendly and they have access to an off site gym 2 blocks away. Great place and would 100% go back.”

“? Like my review! We had a lovely two night stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Oceanside. We stayed here after a family member fell ill on the day of our arrival and we struggled to find a place to stay on Christmas Eve. Despite the mixed reviews from other guests, and after departing another sketchy hotel nearby, we were very glad to take a leap of faith and would definitely return. The room was very comfortable with all the essentials for a long term stay including provided shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dishwashing soap, plates, utensils, coffee maker, couch, desk, and television. It's worth to note that their internet is not the greatest for streaming. Despite no waffle maker, the hot breakfast was great holding us over until dinner with breakfast sandwiches, crustless quiche, coffee, tea, juices, milk, yogurt (including Greek), oatmeal, bagels, bread, muffins, and all the condiments. Several pet owners were also welcomed. They also have a pool, fire pit, and gym, which was heavily utilized during our stay. The location was prime to several restaurants including our family's favorite pizza place. Despite the renovations, I'm excited to see what the rooms will look like upon completion. Plus, seeing several people from the United States Coast Guard staying here made me very proud of the accommodations. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family! Shout out to Kelly and Brian who took care of us (and any issues) during the lovely stay.”

“I never stay in hotels but during a little mini vacation we stayed here and to me it felt ritzy. The rooms are clean, the beds and furniture are super comfy. The hospitality was great, they offer a 24 hours fitness center, with pool and jacuzzi access.”

“Loved everything about it. It had everything you'd want a hotel to have -pool, hot tub, good sized fridge, microwave, AMAZING complimentary breakfast, bath tub/shower with pumps for body wash, shampoo, & conditioner... closet, iron, ironing board, blow dryer, work desk, lamps & great lighting, including a patio door that provides amazing natural light..the beds are comfy & soft with plenty of pillows, all the lil toiletries you'd need... there's also a gym & laundry room!! It was also within walking distance to local restaurants & shops, so I definitely took advantage of that! The staff was also very helpful & friendly, & the room was spotless! We saw how hard those ladies work to keep those rooms clean, & they definitely deserve recognition, too. The only very small complaint I have is that the TV will not connect to WiFi, & neither would my PS4, so I was a bit bored during my time in the room, as I only had my phone & the few crafty things I brought to keep me busy. Thank u for an amazing vacation, Best Western. We'll definitely be back!! ?”

“Safest place within miles of any beach, and it’s only one block away.
If priority is not walking a tight rope of rules and regulations while having oneself and property left alone from the usual threats of tow trucks/thieves, the is the spot.
The staff is hyper vigilant enough that the urban campers actually behave, without nosiness or drama either;
Leaving door literally opened to other wall for a day, (unattended), of a room stacked with holiday shopping without a single person entering from noon to 10pm proves the staff efficiency at maintaining security.
Train track is one block east, beach boardwalk one block west, so it’s not quiet, and rooms exude a memorable je ne sais quoi->this is the ultimate lowkey, no tow, youdoyou, reprieve from the urban sea of rules/heat/drama of coastal cities.”

“The location itself and the view to our suite was beautiful. Although there was no AC, visiting in October was pretty fresh and cold at night. Our suite was overall clean, however the carpet to the stair case and in the rooms needs to be teared down. All carpet should be replaced with either tile or wood to create a cleaner space. The carpet was brown itself and the dirty spots on the carpet were dark. Other than that I strongly recommend staying here.”

No eggs,,,everything else wonderful. the front desk ladies are beutiful so professional and the room services perfect my room was keep clean all the time i really enjoyed my stay and i definitely be recommending this hotel.. 100%”

“the elevator is dangerous screws/bolts are falling out inside etc. it wiggles when it goes up. Oceanside fire department needs to investigate the elevator, immediately.
the doors to the check in office are hung incorrectly.. they swing into each other and prevent proper egrees in emergency.
the walkways of upper levels are slippery when wet, need safety non slip coating. needs more stair cases on building.. there is only one staircase I see.
the room is gorgeous, beautifully clean and well stocked. the motel does not provide microwave or shampoo. the room fan shuts off too soon.
the swimming pool is lovely . clean water and the deck chairs need updating many are broken. beautiful landscaping all around they have excellent gardeners and housekeepers here.

the front desk staff was kind but seemed exhausted maybe too many work hours and no breaks.

we paid online it was only $75 and $50 deposit for one night... fabulous

the shower is super water pressure.. you could power wash an elephant in there... a very small elephant ... best showers ever .. and a hold on bar like riding a bull”

“Free parking in their small lot (I wouldn't bring anything with a trailer FYI). Grocery store and liquor store in walking distance, as well as lots of fast-food choices nearby. Front desk lady on a Sat night was super helpful and courteous. Clean sheets and towels. I didn't need any of their services. A couple of blocks from the freeway but far enough for a quiet night. It was just a great place to crash for the night in a comfortable bed.”

“This is an inn and very inexpensive. It is outdated and needs repairs. With that being said, I knew what I was risking staying here. I was shocked to walk into a very clean room. I mean clean. We travel with our cat. Therefore, I tend to clean the rooms as she is blind and needs to explore every corner to learn her environment. When I moved the end tables I was so happy to see no debris whatsoever. I don't even get this cleanliness in some 4 star locations. This made me very happy and comfortable. I smoke and felt very comfortable and safe going out at night to smoke. I was greeted by a very welcoming, helpful and caring staff member when I arrived. I would definitely stay again if in the area. ?”
