“We had such a nice stay! Rooms were clean & decorated to match the vibe of the hotel, very California-esque. Surfboards, e-bikes, on the wknds they leave coffee & donuts out in the common area. We took the e-bikes out one afternoon & rode around for hours exploring! Staff was friendly & helpful; We asked for a fan & it was provided. The hotel is so close to food, coffee & the beach. If we come back to Oceanside we will definitely be coming to stay here again!! Can’t say enough good things 🩵”

“Adorable little place with a percent location. Nice little slice of local culture. Excellent tiki bar. Awesome rooftop. So fun and creative. Might be time to update the pillows and sheets but that's my only note. Comfi bed. Great vibes. Excellent staff.”

“Great stay at Best Western Oceanside Palms! The location is unbeatable. It is walking distance to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants, and close to Legoland which was the whole point of our trip. Despite being so central, the room was surprisingly quiet. Bed was comfortable, air con was nice and cold (a must in summer), and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast spread was generous with plenty of options. Only downside was the carpet in our room felt a bit grubby, but otherwise a great home base for anything you need in Oceanside.”

“There was water damage around the bathroom door that needs repair. For the price of the room, it should be visually pleasing as well as comfortable. The body wash dispenser was almost empty. We got on the elevator several times with staff that had a large bin of garbage from cleaning. How do you not have a service elevator 😒? I've never stayed in hotel where guests had to share an elevator with maintenance or cleaning staff. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, while others seemed like they were just trying to make it through the day. The roof top pool area was amazing... beautiful view of the ocean.”

“Diego the GM was very kind and accommodating. He moved us to the presidential sweet because I'd booked the wrong room and the wife was looking forward to the jacuzzi tub in the room as shes 8 months pregnant. Had a great stay here. Bedrooms are clean. Staff is kind. Price is excellent and its pretty close to the beach. Walking distance if a mile isn't too much. Continental breakfast is great btw.”

“Customer service from Betty during check-in and check-out was awful. As a Soldier coming to Camp Pendleton for training, it was disappointing to have that experience. The constant questioning during both check-in and check-out made no sense and made the process more difficult than it needed to be. Management definitely needs to work with her on her customer service skills. Overall, though, the stay was good. The rooms were really nice, clean, and comfortable. They were having a Wi-Fi issue, but it appeared they were working to fix it. There was also a nice small gym, as well as a great outside patio and pool area to relax and chill. Having a restaurant conveniently located in the hotel parking lot was another plus. Overall, despite the poor customer service at the front desk, it was a good stay.”

“Blake is absolutely amazing and so kind I discussed with him the reason why I would not be bringing my dog in and cancelled my reservation. All due to a very nasty unprofessional lady that works the front counter of the clinic. I called days before told them I'm all up to date with my dogs vaccines minus fecal and that I received some of these vaccines at a different place. Long story made short dropped of fecal sample and was told she couldn't accept it the dogs needs a wellness check. I have that but it was done at a different place and had to be done with them another lady that worked there walked up I thought she was going to say something so I looked at her then the one last I was originally talking to looks at me and says why are you looking at her!! Her tone was appalling! So I put the sample into the garbage and then she had the nerve to tell me it's to be thrown in the trash outside! It was in a specimen cup and a bio bag! Birdie needs to take this ladies job at the front”

“Rooms were spacious and our room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful during the check-in process. Breakfast was good. The only thing that was a bit concerning as a guest was the cleanliness of the swimming pool and also the spa. We honestly got a little bit grossed out as the color of the spa , like nobody wants to marinate and saute in brown jacuzzi water. Other than that honestly everything was good as far as clean spaces room, the free parking ,good Wi-Fi big screen TV, decent size refrigerator, plenty of ice on a good location near the beach .”

“Worst water pressure in shower I’ve ever had. Sink did not drain and no service people to fix the problem. Had a sign to get ice at front desk for any ice chests but front desk would not honor the sign. We also had a bartender that would not wait on us. Terrible customer care and service.”

“Great quick staycation’ whether you just wanna rest or for business like Job promotion for myself , I always love the Beach the nice Restaurants ‘ Tourists . Beachwood motel provides free WiFi Television with cable ‘ Microwave to cook a fast meal . Nice Cozy beds with a fan there is No AC ‘ however they do have fans especially for the summer time it will get pretty hot . This is my favorite Motel located very close to the Beach in Oceanside California and very affordable. Come visit Vacationers and tourist .”

“First of all, the views are spectacular! The views of the ocean is what I come to the ocean for because i rarely get in the water. So, to have the views of the ocean laying in bed instead of the hot, hard sand is a no brainer! The staff is very informative and friendly. And the suite that i have is cozy and romantic! The no AC is totally not a factor because opening the double doors to let the fresh air and breeze in takes your experience of tranquility to another level! The hotel is older, well kept and theres nothing that a little elbow grease can't fix! My husband loves the beach so i brought him here for his birthday! This hidden gem is located on a peninsula that gives a little seclusion and we enjoy the privacy! We love it so much that I am going to try to see if they have availability to extend our stay!”

“This Motel 6 is honestly the best bang for your buck. They have a pool, laundry room, mini fridges, and they are generous with the toilet paper and towels. The air conditioner works wonderfully, the shower gets the job done, and you save so much money by staying here instead of some expensive place that you're able to extend your family vacation and get the most out of life. Not all Motel 6s are the same, but this one is a winner.”

“The room doesn't look like in the pictures. The beds suck! The mattress is sunken in, when someone gets on the otherside it move the person on the otherside, the pillows are very flat! Can't even double them up!!The air conditioner doesn't work and the curtains fill up with. Apparently they sprayed but I found a roch in the bathroom, most of my towels where dirty or badly stained. Theres some kind of patch on the tub, the sink was broken and they used some kind of caulk. The WiFi doesn't even pop up to connect and when it does the signal is barely there but the office one shows it's running great! No way to contact anyone after 10pm. I chose this place because of its location, decent price but most of all the pictures showed nice room and a decent size tub! If it wasn't for needing to rest before our 14hr drive i would ask for my money back and go to a different hotel! Paid close to $90 for a very crappy room!”

“my friends and i came for the weekend for a wedding we were able to check in early (12:30PM) we were in room 414. housekeeping and maintenance do an amazing job at keeping the hotel clean, front desk was very welcoming and nice quick check in and check out process. will definitely be returning and recommending to people they deserve to be rated higher than a 2 star”
